These are all of the available effects of the 505, almost an exact copy of the manual. The pedal is divided into 7 effect modules, the ZNR and Amp Simulator each being an individual module. If any of you more experienced "Zoomers" see an error or a discrepancy, consider it constructive criticism if you decide to e-mail me about it.

Compressor Module
Effect Description
Compressor Keeps the input within a given level range
Limiter Restricts the input level
Auto Wah Shifts the emphasis frequency automatically
Pedal Wah Shifts the emphasis frequency manually(requires FP01 pedal)

Distortion Module
Effect Description
Acoustic Produces a sound similar to an electric acoustic guitar
Rhythm Gives slight distortion when string are picked strongly
Overdrive Extended overdrive distortion similar to driving a tube amp
Distortion Hard distortion comparable to driving a three-stack amp
Blues Overdrive sound with a firm core
Fuzz Choppy sound with fat bass
Lead Bright and smooth distortion
Metal Shredding type sound

ZNR/Amp Block
Effect Description
ZNR(Zoom Noise Reduction) Noise reduction with natural sounding cutoff
Amp Simulator Makes the output sound as if coming from a guitar amplifier

Equalizer Module
Effect Description
4band EQ Allows boost and cut in presence, high, midrange, and low
Phase Shift Applies a phase-shifted component to the direct sound and the end result is a breathing sound

Modulation Module
Effects Description
Chorus Simple 2-phase chorus suitable for achieving a clean sound
Flanger Adds a very short delay to the direct sound and varies the delay time periodically, resulting in a peculiar sound character
Doubling Overlays the direct sound with a short delay component, creating the impression of several players and making the sound more full-bodied
Step Randomly changing filter creates an auto-arpeggio effect
Pitch Shift Can be used as dual-voice pitch shifter

Delay/Reverb Module
Effects Description
Delay Conventional digital delay with a delay time of up to 370ms
Hall Reverb Simulates the acoustics of a hall
Room Reverb Simulates the acoustics of a room
