Dear Junk Male:

Everyone here at Jonovision would like to thank you for your submission to Jonopalooza. We listened to your tape and really enjoyed it, but unfortunately you were not selected for the first Jonopalooza of this season. Keep in mind that there are three more to come between October and December, so the possibility does exist that you may receive a call in the future.

junk male is a small town, two member punk band from the Palmerston area of Ontario, I found their web page and downloaded the songs which were amazing for such a young band. There music is a sort of bridge between old punk and new. I could hear traces of Nirvana in the vocals and '77style punk rock in the musick, although inspired initiaily by modern punk bands junk male has an edger sound that is raw and angry like early punk..........
