Yeah, I know what you are thinking: Whre are all the tabs he promised? Why hasm't he updated in two months? What's going on with the sight. The fact is that I don't have even a single excuse anymore, but about all the tabs that were sent to me in the past several weeks have been put online. And I promise to do a better job about all this in the future. . . .

It's funny where the time goes, for no sooner had I been trumpeting my intership at Touch and Go, fall should come around and change my priorities. So at the end of the month, I am in fact leaving Touch and Go. As to my new job, I won't spit any details only to say that I did in fact "sell out," whatever that means anymore. I'll grab a bunch of posters for those of you who sent me stuff and try to get those out to you in the coming weeks.
By now you should know the drill: send tab to my email and become a hero to your friends and visitors of this page! You'll get your name on this page plus be credited at the tab itself, because the smarmy devil that is you is doing me and the rest of us a big favor and we appreciate it. Any tab is welcome, so take a look around, be impressed, be annoyed, and then contribute yourself. Oh, and be sure to check out Polvo's official Home Page or Bend or Break, the unofficial home page for our beloved quartet.

And yes, I did notice some of the formatting problems that occur when you use Internet Explorer. I'll fix that problem soon.

About the tab (and future tab) on this site:
My philosophy on guitar tab is simple: its main purpose is as a starting point. Its not going to be 100% accurate (especially in Polvo's case), but it should, at the very least, lend some insight into what is being played and how it is being played. So unless someone hands me tab for Bush's "Little Things" and tells me its "Can I Ride," I'm going to put up everything, and I mean everything, I receive that is somewhere in the vicinity of correct. Some of the tab on here is in standard tuning and we all know that Ash and Dave use alternate tunings so keep that in mind while you run through the songs. If you want to refute a tab or add some notes to the tablature to clarify how to play the song, just drop me an email, and I'll add your contribution to the tab. And if you have the slightest bit of a song, do send it in so that we can cover every Polvo song known to mankind.

A big thanks goes out to the original contributors of this page(that includes Colin, Dan, Andrew, Ron, Nathan, and Milan), but even bigger spanks goes out to Colin, Jason, and Andrew for busting their asses recently in helping to garner more tab.

Polvo Tunings and Equipment:
What is known about Polvo's guitar get-up and tuning style comes from an article in a once cool magazine known as Alternative Press. So to quote Ash on his setup:

As for tunings this is what I know. On Shapes, Dave and Ash tweek Drop-D tuning (see Colin's tabs). On Exploded Drawing and This Eclipse they used E B A G A F. Some of Today's Active Lifestyles and Celebrate the New Dark Age were done with lowG G C C C E as well as them just tuning down half a step. Cor-Crane secret was done in D A A G D D, with "Vibracobra" and "Lazy Comet" done in D A# A# # D D. Hope this helps . . . . .
