Some Comments from voting Divine Sheilas...
On "I'm A Believer":
"Also ROCKSSSSSS" -- Barbara Gilbert
" 'I can't act, you should see me lie' - that line kills me!! -- Michelle O'Connor
"I can only invision the goings-on of that song! It's awesome--I've been singing it all weekend." -- Carly Barcklay
"Not only do the lyrics slay me, but I love Aaron's voice here. Instrumentals are quite sexy too." -- Lauren Rothman
"...it's such a good love song at least to me it sounds like one" -- Dustin Larrabee

On "Like A Criminal":
"This song ROCKSSSSSS" -- Barbara Gilbert
"I don't know why, this song just does it for me. It rocks, and isn't that reason enough." -- Eric Sandler
"When i first heard this song live I was like woh this fucking rocks!" -- Dustin Larrabee

On "Automatic Buffalo":
"This song is so clearly outstanding.  Aaron's falsetto at the end is just stunningly beautiful." -- Chris McQuain
"the 1st song I heard and I've liked it best from the get go...Aarons screeching "Automatic Buffalo" at the end of the song puts me in that moment everytime I hear it!" -- Anthony DeNardo (THE PHANTOM OF 2000)

On "Opportune Moment"
"Everyone's been in that situation, you can't deny it." -- Carly Barcklay
"Not only can I relate, but the Heavyweight sounds like a lost puppydog here. I have a lost puppydog fetish. Aww." -- Lauren Rothman
"Heartbreakingly beautiful" -- Kristen Von Malder
"love the structure of the lyrics in this one" -- Anthony DeNardo
"it's emotionally powerful" -- Brian Moffitt
"great song and very touching, i can relate to it." -- A1UB79@aol.com

On "Hum":
"This is the first TSD song I heard (on KWOD 106.5, a local station), and it just goes with my every mood. It rocks and there's nothing more to it (any song that makes you feel like you can go out and kick everyone's ass is a great song). I know some think it's not the best song on the CD, but I don't care. It's always gonna be my fave." -- Carly Barcklay
" I must admit that from the second I heard 'Hum,' I knew it would be my favorite song. I'd go so far as to say I think it's the best single of '99. I can't think of any off the top of my head that blow me away nearly as much as that one does." -- Chip Midnight
"Because it gives the much needed kick-to-the-groin that the KROQ mentality has needed for a very long time. Both in the music and lyrics." -- Lauren Rothman
"The first time I heard this song I was blown away. I heard it on the radio (103.1 ) and my jaw just dropped. Songs with this much intensity and emotion are rare. I still to this day don't care what the words are, I hear in my heart what it means to me and it actually inspired me to go home and find an ending to something I have been writing for 3 years. I owe this band a lot just for what they have done for me, I hope to publish what I have written and get them involved in a hope to try to promote this incredible band." -- Sean P. Sullivan
"It's a completely raw song....blows the doors off the place every time. Plus, it's the one that got me into the band. I heard the song ONCE on the radio and decided I wanted to hear more. It took me a while to find the CD, but once I did find it and listen to it, I was hooked. I won't loan it out just yet. I drive home from work thinking 'I can't wait to listen to the Sheila Divine.'" -- Brian Moffitt

On "Spacemilk":
"This song is really, really romantic, kind of can't-we-conspire-against-the-world-that's-trying-to-keep-us-apart, and I like that.   It's probably the most intimate song on the album and it's the kind of song you wanna scare yr crushes with by dedicating it to them.." -- Chris McQuain
"Love the bassline, and acoustic guitar in this one" -- Kristen Von Malder

On "Awful Age":
"Two reasons, both musical. First, the oh so reminiscent of Adam Clayton (War era) bass line. Two, that little clicking noise you hear right with "and there's nothing you can do." Besides, there's something kick ass about screaming the chorus at the top of your lungs as you roll down the highway." -- Eric Sandler
"the lyrics seem so appropriate" -- Chris Moynihan
"...the lyrics are so good and the music is so good I love it!" -- Dustin Larrabee

On "The Modern Log":
"when the bass line kicks in after the line 'you're tempting me to be the modern log' i just go nuts because of its pure splendor." -- Mike Doran

On "New Parade":
"because of the solo at the end" -- Josh Morgan

On "The Amendment":
"Best ballad on the album, and I'll arm wrestle anyone who says differently. " -- Eric Sandler
"I'd like to second Eric's quote on The Amendment" -- Anthony DeNardo

On "Sweep The Leg":
"i'm not trying to be different with that one... the song just sounds so sad... and the last minute of it seems like the perfect end to the cd" -- Mike Barrett

Other song comments:
"My current fave is a new song called "Walking Dead (Who Speak)" -- Shawn of TSD (who voted for three different songs for the poll but included this additionally)

"My vote for #1 Jim Gilbert original is "The Triangle Song" -- Barbara Gilbert
