How to Play Fast: Hammer-ons & Pull-offs

I have a few hammer-on and pull-off exercises in Lesson 5 that you should probably start with first if you have never been exposed to hammer-ons or pull-offs before. After you get used to those, jump to this exercise to give you more practice. The idea here is that you do not need to pick every note when playing. If you get the hammer-ons and pull-offs down, you can even play solo's without ever picking a note with your strumming hand. (I've seen Angus Young do this in concert and it is great for showmanship) Try doing this pattern only picking the first note. Do this pattern on all strings.
