PLOT: Two hapless crew members (Chris Callas & Rich Carroll) forget to finish the set in time for the show. During the performance, a man in the audience (John Olcott) comes on stage to answer a telephone, set pieces fail to function or fall apart, and when one of the cast members fails to show up, crew member Mike has to take his place as "Bernard." A one-act comedy.
HISTORY: Presented as the first half of a double feature of
student-directed one-act plays, "Take Five" is one of the
most exciting and funniest shows I've ever done.
Among the highlights of that show was my first onstage kiss (from Amber La Bella, who played my wife).
