garbage inanity
Vancouver Island Illegal Dumping Part of my first year Community Tourism Planning grad course was spent kicking around Vancouver Island, learning about the trials and tribulations of local tourism development. This shot was taken somewhere near Duncan, about 20 minutes north of Victoria. Robyn said she felt like trash, hung over after an evening of hotel boozing with the class. Her comment was a easy setup for this literal representation of her condition, as the sign indicates. Unbeknownst at the time of the dumping, the garbage bags were quite soiled and wet from the overnight rains. Hey, I was a little stressed out from worrying about the condition of my apartment that weekend, wondering what sort of roomate inanity was transpiring in my absence. |
