Biographical facts:
1965 - Born in Sofia on 19th of March
1972 - First lessons of piano with professor M. Gentcheva
1979 - 1984 - Student at the Music School. In the class of professor M. Kurteva
1984 - 1990 - Student at the Music Academy. In the class of professor L.Atanasova
1984 - 1986 - Works as a pianist for the national team of rhythmic gymnastic of Bulgaria
1984 - 1988 - Performing with different formations at jazz clubs in Sofia
1986 - - Performing as a piano bar entertainer

...We have had the pleasure of working with Ivan MINEKOV during the past years. He upheld a tremendous role as one of our best resident pianist.
He plays the piano with flair and his warm personality highlighted by touches of humor appealed to audience of all ages and nationalities. Apart from being a great “team player” he is a conscientious, adaptable, punctual hard working professional.
Our guests and also we highly appreciate his performances. The music is excellent and we are proud to have him back for a couple of months next year.
