Left With Pain

Love is a gift from the almighty one above.
Symbolized by the simple things in life,
For instance there's the doves.
But what happens when love runs out?
When person is left to suffer.
When someone is left to doubt,
About their so called "significant other."
Is that just another lesson of life?
To make sure you experience anguish and pain?
You feel you've found your husband or wife,
Then they sevre every last vein.
I'm sorry, but I don't see the meaning,
Of me left here profusely bleeding,
Tears of pain, as they fall like rain,
Til the day I'm carried to my grave.

Untitled
Pain was felt as I watched you fall.
As you outstretched your arms and reached for the wall.
I watched you lie there, unable to move,
As your hands slipped slowly away from the groove.
I saw your life pass before my eyes.
I knew we had said our final good-byes.
When the ambulance came and took you away,
my life was filled with tears and dismay.
I lied there and cried myself to sleep.
It didn't last long, I was left to weep.
I remember everyday you had been there
For me to come to and get the best care.
One things for sure, you'll be greatly missed.
In my heart you will stay until my life is dismissed.
