This is one of the most serious sites of
all the ones I have. What do I think about The Beatles? What do I
think of the band that changed the face of the Earth and changed
music forever? What do I think of the band that experimented with
music and pulled it off as nobody ever had?
Well, I think that paragraph summed it all up. But its always more than that. I wasn't around when The Beatles were around. I'm a modern Beatles fan. I marvel at the way they did whatever they wanted and it always turned out well. Even at their lowest point (meaning: bad criticism for Magical Mystery Tour) they could create splendid music. I wish my peak could be their low.
As George Harrison said once, "People took us as an excuse to go crazy", and I think its better that the people chose The Beatles as an excuse than war. The Beatles represented peace and change. The Beatles represented what the people wanted to be or what the people wanted to do. Their music moved, touched and sent a message. And even after all this years, their music is fresh and new.
I don't think there will ever be another "Beatles" because they did everything and set the standards for music.
