Leave it to Joe .... Good news is, it ain't broken! But Joe did have a run in with another soccer player and banged up his arm pretty good. He is suffering from a "damaged shoulder" which hurts like a bugger, but he'll be fine! Get better quick babe!!!

What the heck is up with the new single?! The release of the next single off of DL's X, "Long, Long Way To Go," has a new release date: April 14, 2003. The video has been supposed shot and both versions of the single will have it, but one will be a CD version and the second will be a DVD version. And yes, "Long, Long Way To Go" still will NOT be released commercially OR on radio in the U.S. ..... You also have the opportunity to purchase the two singles via a few different places, but the official site has HMV.co.uk linked, and for a pretty decent price, too.

First rumoured gigs in U.S. are as follows: in Pittsburgh, PA on March 21st at the Petersen Center .... now no confirmation on the official website OR Pollstar BUT tickets will be on sale for this show at Ticketmaster Online on Thursday (02/06/03) at good ol' 10:00am ... in Indianapolis, IN on March 22 at Conseco Fieldhouse .... in Cleveland, OH on March 24 at Gund Arena ... and lastly in Erie, PA on April 7 at Louis Tullio Arena .... more soon I hope!!!

So what is up with the new Lep single? Finally, some type of information has been released about the new single off X, "Long, Long Way To Go." Two live versions of "Now" (live acoustic in Germany and live electric in Japan) as well as "Hysteria" (live acoustic, recorded in Germany) and "Long, Long Way To Go"(live in Japan)

As well as two previously unreleased tracks:
"10 X Bigger Than Love" and "Gimme A Job"

The video will be filmed sometime in the first week of February, which will be partly shot in Spain. The director is a yet-to-be-confirmed Brit who has worked with the band before, and it will contain a storyline by Phil!! (Can't wait!! Hurry up!! ;-) - L.K.)

Def Leppard rocks a T. Mobile Commercial.... "Pour Some Sugar On Me" is featured in a T Mobile Commercial ..... apparently the premise is as follows: there is this guy and his girl and they are in the car getting ready to leave a parking garage, and the guy sings "Pour some sugar Ramen," and she looks at him and asks, "What?" and he responds, "You know, like the noodles" ... we all know what the RIGHT lyrics are .... and Catherine Zeta Jones hands the girl a phone so she can call the library to get the real lyrics. It's actually kinda cute. So keep your eyes peeled for it ....

Def Leppard's "Love Bites" ranks in .... at #52 on VH1's 100 Greatest Love Songs .... check out their website for times to see who has what to say about one of the greatest ballads of all time!

Check out nascar.com and the official site for any other details running amuck.

Mariah Carey covers Def Leppard?! Yeah you read right. Apparently on her upcoming album Charmbracelet, the high pitched squealer covers the rock ballad. You can check out the article at http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,66464,00.html ... just ignore the fact that they listed BOTHB's release as 1993 ... sheeessssshhh .....

Def Leppard rocks Rock Radio.... Yes, the next commercial single is "Long, Long Way To Go" .... but rock radio will be receiving the promo cd for "Four Letter Word" on November 18th! So on and after that date, call your local rock radio stations and request it!!!

X remains on the charts... Here's the run down: well in it's first week, and even though X may have sold 27,000 less than Euphoria, it still charted at the same number as its 1999 predecessor. Selling more than 71,000 copies, the tenth DL album took the #11 spot in its firts week of release. In it's second week however, it slid quickly down to the #36 spot and is barely hanging on. Now in it's third week, X slides down even further, clinging on to the #73 spot on the charts. Even more ironic, Vault, well, it had vaulted the competition on the Pop Catalogue Chart AGAIN to hit #1 and has remained there for the past 3 weeks .... For more info, check out Billboard.com.
