The night of our pre-wedding party at Jillian's, we all decided
to bowl a game or two at their lanes. The balls were released
and the competition began. It was brother against brother,
sister against sister, husband against wife, etc. People were
gaining and losing ground left and right. Eventually a winner
was named. Adrien beat the runner-up, Allan, by three pins.
Since she has limited bowling experience and because she is
a priest, we all thought that she had a guardian angel knocking
down her pins for her. Before Adrien left, she told Becca
to beat Jackie. Becca felt that she was now blessed and assured
a win. Jackie, on the other hand, was prepared to win at all
costs. When the last ball had been bowled and the last pin
had fallen, Becca arose victorious. Adrien is now considering
a career as a bowling alley priest. (just kidding)
