I Was Introduced
When I was only three years old I was introducced to NKOTB by my older sister Dawn, I used to hang out with her and her friends, they all loved NKOTB so of course I fell in love too. I first fell in love with Donnie, but I soon forgot about him and fell in love with the irresistable Jordan.
On the Christmas of 1990 my sister only got NK stuff! My dad even sent for a Magic Summer Tour jacket, that she wore everywhere. After a couple of years she, like many fans, just forgot about NKOTB and threw out her stuff, except her jacket, sleeping bag, and waterbottle. After 5 years she was moved out of the house and my family moved, so my mom threw out the sleeping bag and waterbottle, but kept the jacket which is worth 300 dollars by now.

With NKOTB out of my life I started to like JTT, BSB, *NSync, and Kel Mitchell, but NEVER Leo! Anyway, my sister Ann and I went to a hockey game with our dad one night and somehow NK was brought up in the conversation and after the game I was exhausted so while I lyed on the couch my sister found the Step By Step home video, |

she was pulled back in time and I just fell asleep. She watched the video all the way through and in the morning she couldn't stop talking about Joe so I went and watched it with her and of course, I redeemed my love for Jordan. As we watched it my sister Dawn came over and just sat and watched with us, afterwards we started surfing the internet, and found Jordan and Joeys webpages. After seeing them and what they look like now, we didn't have enough, so I later through a lot of surfing, I found the Ultimate NKOTB LInk List. A couple of days later my sister Ann and I were watching Step By Step and I remembered watching Hangin' Tough Live with Dawn, and I went downstairs and searched through box after box of tapes and there it was. I hurried upstairs and put it in and felt like it was yesterday seeing Donnie in those pants, and Jordan in that jacket, and Joey's voice, I was in heaven! So here I am, 7 months later and loving every bit of it! I now have, with the help of the internet, a Jordan doll my sister Ann has a Joey doll and bio, my youngest sister Alex has a Donnie doll, and My sis Ann and I both have a NK pink waterbottle, we have our videos but added the Hangin' Tough home video, I made myself some pants like Donnies and soon will have some Batman stuff, I also have the Greatest Hits CD, and a web page.
I love having my two favorite New Kids with solo albums, and Donnie being in many movies. Life is great when you love NKOTB. |
