This is my meeting with Westlife.

My mobile rang. It was a VJ from a Finnish TV show called Jyrki. I had won a competition to meet WESTLIFE in Sweden, Stockholm on 15th of February 2000. As ev'ry competition winner, I just COULDN'T BELIEVE my ears!! ME who NEVER wins and I even had entered the competition with a feeling, what's the use, I don't win it anyway...
O'kay but let's jump over the hysterical phone calls to all of my friends and let's get back to the day of my meeting...:)
WL's record company and the programme Jyrki took me and 2 other girls (they had won a comp via a Finnish magazine) straight to the place called "Fryshuset" where we would meet them and see them performing live after the meeting. When we arrived to the place we were told that WL was late, because someone had forgot their things back to the hotel so of course they had to pick it up, so we had to wait about 45 mins until they FINALLY took us to the conference room.
Just when we had sat down it only took like 5 mins and then WL came walking to the room! Nicky came first, then Shane, Bryan, Mark & Kian. Bryan was the one who immediately broke the silence and said HI! with a cheeky voice and then he started to open up lemonade and poured some to all of them. And because they were in a hurry (they couldn't be late at all from the recordings for TV cuz it was a live show..) we were told that as soon as you've got the autographs and some pics you had to leave the room so there wouldn't be a total CHAOS. But I and the other 2 Finns were lucky cuz we had come with BMG and we got to stay in the room because we would watch the recordings from a totally different (and BETTER) view:).
Anyways, so my turn came. First there was Kian. He said Hello with the usual "Kian-smiley" on his face and asked the usual how I was doing and what's my name. He was very sweet. I of course had a lil' gift for them, a can of Turkish peppers (it's a very hot salmiac candy from Finland). When I started to explain about the candies like "and this I wanna give to all of you," an INSTANT silence came! Ev'ryone of them was listening to me and they seemed to be very curious about it, and I just talked and talked!:) I was a bit amazed after it that I didn't even stutter at all!!! ;P
