McCartney

In his first post-Beatles work, released in 1970, Paul plays all of the instruments. Several Beatles versions of these songs are heard on bootlegs, mostly from the 'Get back' era. Some of them have been officially released. It is said that Paul recorded this LP secretly, and, when it was ready for release, he announced he was leaving the Beatles. John would have got upset becasue of that. Anyway, it's a superb record, and these legendary histories make it even more interesting.

CONTENTS:
The lovely Linda - That would be something - Valentine day - Every night - Hot as sun - Glasses - Junk - Man we was lonely - Ooh you - Momma Miss America - Teddy boy - Singalong - Maybe I'm amazed - Kreen-Akrore

McCartney II

Originally intended as a double album, Paul's 1980 release brings him again on all instruments. Although many people don't like some of the songs on this album, it contains wonderful tunes like Waterfalls, One of these days, Darkroom and, of course, Comin' up. One of the good things about Paul is that he has the courage to try new things very often. Check my machine, Secret friend and Goodnight tonight, originally released in singles, were added as bonus tracks for the Remaster Series.

Pipes of peace

Common sense usually consider that this 1983 release is one of the worst Paul's release!!!!! BUT, a conceptually constructed follow up to Tug of war, again with George Martin on production, Ringo on drums, Stanley Clark and Michael Jackson, this recod proves that common sense is terribly wrong!!! Pipes of peace, Say say say, The other me and others are huge songs. Twice in a life time, previously unavaiable soundtrack song, We all stand together, previously released on a single, and Simple as that, previously avaiable on a charity album, were added as bonus tracks to the Remaster Series CD.

Press to play

From 1986, this album is unfairly considered a not very inspired one. It's hard to discover why someone who's heard Footprints, Only love remains, Press a,d Move over buskers would think so! Write away, It's not true and Tough on a tightrope were added as bonus tracks for the CD.

Stranglehold - Goodtimes comin'/ Feel the sun - Talk more talk - Footprints - Only love remains - Press - Pretty little head - Move over busker - mangry - Howerver absurd

Choba B CCCP

The 1988 Russian Album. Origianally released only in the late USSR, this album brings Paul doing some rock'n'roll classics. It's interesting to note that Paul aparently never lost the 'Get back' feeling. The desire of a more basic musical approach is very recorrent in his work, perhaps confliting with his talent for complex arrengments. This would be enough for na article or a book... For now, Choba B CCCP is na outsatnading rock'n'roll piece. I'm in love again was added to the CD version when it was released worldwide, in 1991

CONTENTS:
Kansas City - Twenty flight rock - Lawdy Miss Clawdy - I'm in love again - Bring it on home to mama - Summertime - Ain't that a shame - Crackin' up - Just becasue - Midnight special

Flowers in the dirt

This 1989 release is a remarkable recod in Paul's carer. It had the taste of a comeback. All superb songs, the promiss of a new band (which became real, in the tour to promote the album), a more direct echological approach and a renewed love for making music make this album absolutely outstanding. It makrs the consolidation of Paul's very productive partnership with Elvis Costello. Back on my feet, Flying to my home and Loveliest thing, originally released in singles, were added as bonus tracks for the Remaster Series.

My brave face - Rough ride - You want her too - Distractions - We got married - Put it there - Figure of eight - This one - Don't be careless love - That day si done - How many people - Motor of love - Ou est le soleil

Off the ground

After the Liverpool Oratorio, Paul suprisely makes a very basic album, following his 'get back' felling. Off the ground brought George Martin back again to produce one song.
