Comments: I was flabergasted when I discovered last month that Karma to Burn was still alive and rockin! Back in the summer of 1994 or 1995 (I'm a little hazy on which year), I saw K to da B at a surf club on North Myrtle Beach. My buddies and I were spending a wee down there, and one day I wondered into the surf club on a late afternoon. I was suprised to find a band playing, but I liked what i was hearing. So I hung out for a while and was sucked into what was clearly an original sound. Anyway, after a warm up th t seemed like a full set, I talked to someone in the band and they told me they were playing a full set later that night. My buddy and I went to Myrtle Beach for a while and came back in time to catch a couple of Karma to Burn sets. They fuckin blew me a ay. I was on college radio in New Hampshire at this time. The guys gave me an address and phone number to contact in order to get a copy of the 10" EP. I got the EP just before the start of the Fall Semester. I made one of the songs on the EP the theme mu ic to my show (I still have tapes of me doing my top of the hour ID tage with Karma to Burn playing in the background). We also reported to College Music Journal, and a couple of times we were able to get Karma to Burn into our Top 10 Airplays List which ot printed in each CMJ issue, almost purely based on the fact I was playing them several times each show.Anyway sorry for the essay, but I just want to congratulate you guys for pressing on. Hope to see you in the near future and I am bummin that I missed the Boston show. I am thinking about flyin south for one of the shows in NC or WV. Where can I get a copy of anything you got available? I only wish i had the EP again, because thats some serious groove zonin jams. Later . . . LeagLEyeZ
