Abstract
I decided to toy around with various filters and such in Photoshop v3.0 and I came up with this odd picture. Next time I'll be sure to add some text that's a little less "bland".

Abstract
II
Part II of my abstract duo... I think I improved slightly on the overall layout, etc. Maybe if I make it into a trilogy, the third will show the true "essence" of what I wanted to gain by these pictures...

Face
The first picture in another duo of computer paintings: I painted these in Photoshop 3.0 as well. The theory behind this picture was to show a non-specific face displaying several emotions at once. Perhaps it's a feeling we've all felt at least once before.....

Face
II
The second face displays much of the same ideas as the first, but instead showing several other emotions: anger and jealousy spring to mind... These were fun as well as therapeutic.

Initials
Who can really say what the purpose was for this picture... it was just a lot of fun to make! I guess in a way it's almost another "abstract", yet not quite on the same level. Who knows, I like it.

Skull
I think this was the first computer painting I ever did... Back in the days of PS v3.0, I thought this was the shizzz!

Home
Sweet Home
Aw yeah! My first "decent" computer painting! This one was a design I had for a cd cover concept (in the event that I get a band that can play together) since I've been working on music for a while now.

Yin
Yang
Who here remembers Shadow Warrior??? It was a Duke Nukem3D style 1st person shoot-em-up made by 3D Realms a few years back. This is my idea of what the logo should have looked like for the intro page... I wish I had known that there WERE decent filters in PS v3.0 to make fire! I did this "flamage" by hand.

Demo
Cover
This cd cover concept was supposed to have been done for a Sweedish band named Maggog. They needed a cover pic for their freshly recorded demo album. I was in contact with one of the band members in the making of the picture, but after several conflicts concerning certain details in the picture, they just stopped writing back. At that point, I just gave up and made it my own...

Stars
I painted this picture for part of an animation that I was working on during a summer seminar at the art school that I plan to attend. After the seminar, I saved this picture on a disk because I liked it so much. For a time I had it as the background wallpaper on my computer.

Lava Explosion
I still haven't figured out what this really is... it was fun to do, and looked interesting enough to keep. Either you're looking down on a volcano as it's erupting, or you're looking up from the bottom of a bubbling glass of ale. Another concept would be glancing up at the setting sun from the bottom of a tidal pool..... who knows? Make up your own assumptions! =)

Lady of the Lake
This picture is part of a layout I had for one of my earlier sites. As it must be obvious, I'm a large fan of Arthurian legend... and one of my favorite characters is the mystical Lady of the Lake.

|
Skull and Bones
"Man the hatches! Tie that scurvy bugger to tha yard arm! Raise the ol' Skull N' Crossbones!" This picture took a long time to paint, although it's detail is not that evident since this copy of the picture is smaller in size. It was fun to make (as were many of my pictures) and it also spent a time as my computer's wallpaper.

|
Vampire Game
Yet another picture designed as my wallpaper... This one is simulating a computer game, with a crosshair over the doomed victim's forehead, a graphical diagram of the "critical hit", and a health indicator that's not looking good for our fair-skinned foe. Meanwhile, our hero is racking up the points as you can see at the upper left. Boy, was that FUN!

|
Eclipse
I guess this picture was inspired by scifi-esque shows like Star Trek or Star wars... I was playing around with designing pictures of space and planets, and I just added in a few grids and furturistic fonts and "bing, bang, boom"... I had a picture. I would like to have added a few more details and such, but as they say, "I'm sorry capt'n, I've given 'er all she's got!"

|
Circle Blade
A nifty lil' thing ain't it? I'm sure it wouldn't be all that functional as a weapon, but it'd be a really cool wall ornament! The picture itself only took me a half hour or less to make, but the idea had been in my head for weeks to design a strange new weapon of sorts...
|
|
Battle Axe
Here's a new addition to the list... It's obvious that I got the idea for this picture from the older one above. I decided that since I've improved my skills in Photoshop conciderably in the time between the two pictures, I should add another version of my original concept.
