This program allows you to search USENET while you are
away
from your desk. It will search NewsGroups and mark interesting articles
that you can read later, using standard NewsReaders.
It can also act as an NNTP Filter, and can be
configured
to retry busy News Servers, and to locally lock use of Servers when
download
limits have been exceeded.
XNews-friendly, Snooze
writes
standard .newsrc format files, and can be configured to generate XNews
filter files from its own search patterns.
Key Features
Connection Cache - reuse recently used servers (e.g. biggulp)
Host Locking - prevent wasted connection attempts.
Super Threading - reduce screen usage by merging related binary
threads.
Filtering - (proxying) - use Snooze to manage retries to busy Servers.
Easy Configuration (hmm) - standard .ini files.
SuperHosting - use multiple servers from one connection.
