A sell-out crowd has been jammed into Caesar's Palace for the second annual edition of Wrestlefest! The crowd cheers at the announcement of the card, but boos fill the arena as The Bohnen Family heads to the ring.
Match #1: The Bohnen Family vs Armed and Dangerous/Arthur Reed and Daredevil
With the Bohnen Family warming up in the ring, the crowd erupts as Armed and Dangerous and Daredevil are led to the ring by Arthur Reed. The fan favourites exchange high fives with the spectators at ringside, before entering the squared circle. Before the bell even sounds, The Bohnen Family attack their opponents and an all-out brawl ensues. The Bohnen Family seems to have the upperhand, as The Bodacious Bohnens pair off with Armed and Dangerous, while Dangerous Dave picks on the smaller Daredevil. But the tables turn on the Bodacious Bohnens, as Silverdog and B.B. Gunn gain the upper hand, and toss The A-Man and Dynamic Dan to the outside. Dangerous Dave, however, is still in complete comtrol of Daredevil, as order is finally restored in the ring. Bohnen slams the former WCFC Featherweight champ to the mat with authority, and plants a leg drop over his throat. A cover. One... two... but that's all. Dangerous Dave whips his opponent to the ropes, and tears into him with a clothesline. He picks Daredevil up, and executes a back breaker. He drags his opponent to his corner, where he reluctantly tags in Dynamic Dan. The D-Man and Dangerous Dave double team Daredevil, before Dynamic Dan takes over. He lands an atomic drop, before whipping his opponent to the corner. He charges in after, but Daredevil gets a boot up, before nailing a cross body attack from the second rope. A cover only gets a one count, but Daredevil is able to tag the a fresh B.B. Gunn. Dynamic Dan backs off wearily, but Gunn doesn't hold up. He delivers a series of chops, which echo throughout the arena, and hip tosses The D-Man to the mat. Dynamic Dan lands in his corner, where he tags in The A-Man. Adam Bohnen charges his opponent, but B.B. Gunn ducks, and dropkicks The A-Man into his corner. Gunn tags in Silverdog, and Armed and Dangerous execute a double vertical suplex on the big man. Silverdog with a cover. One... two... but The A-Man kicks out. Silverdog kicks his opponent in the gut, and sets him up for a piledriver. But The A-Man counters with a back body drop. The A-Man whips Silverdog to the ropes, and Daredevil slaps him on the way by. Silverdog ducks a clothesline, and Daredevil delivers a missile toe dropkick. Daredevil climbs to the top rope and lands his Devil's Drop knee drop. A cover. One... two... Dangerous Dave breaks the count. This triggers six men to enter the ring, and another brawl is sparked. In the mayhem, Armed and Dangerous set Dynamic Dan up for the Silver Bullet. They land the move and cover. One... two... but once again Dangerous Dave makes the save. Dangerous Dave is taking on all three of his opponents, while The A-Man fetches a steel chair. He re-enters the ring and takes a swing at Daredevil. But Daredevil dodges the blow, leaving The A-Man to connect with Dangerous Dave. Daredevil rolls on top of Dave Bohnen for a cover. One... two... THREE!!! The team of Armed and Dangerous and Daredevil win! They head off in celebration, while The Bodacious Bohnens are visibly upset with the loss. They blame Dangerous Dave for the loss, who heads off ignoring them. The crowd boos, as The Bodcious Bohnens attack Dangerous Dave from behind. They land their finisher, a combination of the Family Chokeslam and The Dynamite Splash, before heading off to a chorus of boos.
Match #2: Colossus vs The Oil Tanker
Fans cheer at the sight of The Oil Tanker, who heads to the ring in an all-business manner. The Tanker doesn't look happy with his duty as the one to bring his brother back to earth. The crowd boos as Colossus walks to the ring, trying to exchange a few high-fives with ringside spectators. He enters the ring, and puts out his hand for a shake, The Oil Tanker looks to the crowd for approval, but they don't like the idea. Nonetheless, he obliges, and his little brother gives him a boot to the gut. Colossus whips the Oil Tanker to the ropes, and attempts a clothesline. The Tanker ducks, and nails one of his own! The fans cheer as Colossus rolls to the outside, and looks into the camera. "I'm the hero!" As he re-enters, Oil Tanker yanks him over the top rope and back into the ring. A scoop, a slam and a cover. One... Colossus kicks out. Oil Tanker seems reluctant to hit his little brother, electing to use technical moves instead. A belly-to-belly suplex, and an armbar, but Colossus reaches the ropes. As Oil Tanker releases the hold, Colossus complains to the ref of hair pulling. The fans boo, and Colossus surprises his brother with a big right hand. The Oil Tanker hits the mat, holding his face, and Colossus stomps down on him. The former champ relentlessly punishes The Oil Tanker, sending him to the outside, and following him out of the ring. Colossus slams The Oil Tanker into the ringside commentary table, and then into the ringside guard rail. At the referee's 9-count, Colossus rolls his opponent back into the ring, and goes for a cover. One... two... Oil Tanker gets a shoulder up. Colossus with a pickup, and a vertical suplex. Another pin. One... two... once again, no three count. An increasingly frustrated Colossus puts his brother in a submission hold, hoping to get him to quit. The Oil Tanker works his way out of the move, and sends Colossus to the ropes. Hip toss by the Tanker, and Colossus gets up, only to fall victim to another. The fans are on their feet, until Colossus trips up his brother, kicking him once again to the outside. The ref begins to count to ten, and meanwhile, Colossus loosens the padding on the turnbuckle, exposing the steel bearing. The Oil Tanker makes his way back in, and Colossus charges him. Oil Tanker dodges the bullet, and stuns Colossus, going for The Oil Drill finisher. But he can't get his brother up! Colossus wiggles free, and whips Oil Tanker into the exposed turnbuckle! The Oil Tanker bounces back, but right into the waiting arms of his brother. Colossus with the Slam Heard Round the World! One... two... THREE!!! Colossus wins! He leaves the ring, and heads up the ramp, before taking one final glance at his beaten brother and opponent. But The Oil Tanker is still lying in the ring. A look of concern comes across his face, as he begins to turn back to the ring. He re-enters, checking on his older brother. After a few moments, he hoists The Oil Tanker over his shoulder, and leaves the ring, carrying his brother with him.
Match #3 (Featherweight Title Match): El Infierno (champion) vs "Mr. Merchandise" Steve Gentry (challenger)
Steve Gentry gets a cold reception from the fans, who refuse to purchase any items from the hated superstar's merchandise stand. El Infierno gets a great ovation, and he sprints to the ring, the belt around his waist, and a personalized shirt on his torso showing the colours of Brazil. He hands the balt to the ref, and in the process of doing so, gets blind-sided by his opponent. Gentry goes to work on the champ from the get-go, sending him to the ropes, and clobbering him with a clothesline. Infierno doesn't even have time to catch his breath before Mr. Merchandise slams him and drives his knee into the champ's throat. The fans boo as Gentry chokes Infierno with his boot, and the ref counts to five before prying him off. Gentry points and laughs at his opponent, which further disturbs the fans. As Mr. Merchandise turns his attention back to the in-ring action, he is met by El Infierno's body in full-flight! The champ is fired up, and he unloads a series of kicks on the challenger, sending him to the ropes, and nearly taking his head off with a spinning heel kick! A cover! One... two... Gentry kicks free. The Blaze from Brazil keeps it coming, tossing the challenger to the outside, and leaping over the top rope with a suicide dive! Mr. Merchandise bails out of the way, though, and the champ collides hard with the concrete floor. Just like that, Gentry is back in control. He pulls the champ to his feet, and clotheslines him over the rail and into the crowd. The two men brawl some more, before the ref directs the traffic back to the ring. Gentry rolls Infierno into the ring and covers. One... two... the champ gets a shoulder up. Gentry climbs the buckle, and connects with a cross-body! One... two... again, a kick out. In frustration, Mr. Merchandise locks Infierno in a chinlock, and the fans stomp their feet to get their favourite back into the match. It works, and El Infierno drives his elbow into Gentry stomach forcing him to break the hold. Gentry with a poke to the eye, and he sends Infierno to the ropes. The champ ducks a clothesline, and as Gentry puts his head down for a back body drop, El Infierno delivers a gut-wrench powerbomb! The fans erupt as he motions an ascent to the top turnbuckle. He leaps, and nails the Crimson Tide 450 Splash! One... two... THREE! El Infierno retains the championship! He leaves the ring, grabs his belt, and takes off his shirt. He approaches Gentry's merchandise stand, and places his shirt on one of hangers before leaving to a great ovation.
Match #4 (Loser Leaves WCFC): Ben Xeric w/"Pretty Boy" Cory Chadwick vs Larry "The Ego" Milman - guest referee Ben Targonsky
Ben Xeric is accompanied to the ring by "Pretty Boy" Cory Chadwick, and the fans show their support for the duo. Shortly after, Larry "The Ego" Milman hits the scene, with one of the WCFC owners, and special guest ref Ben Targonsky by his side. Milman enters the ring, lowers his shades, and chuckles in the face of his former friend. Ben Targonsky checks Xeric for foreign objects, but leaves The Ego alone. He then orders Pretty Boy to leave the ringside area, which doesn't sit well with the fans. Eventually, The Blond Bomber leaves, and the match begins. Xeric takes it to Milman with a combo of rights and lefts, until Targonsky steps in to break it up. A frustrated Xeric shows his disappointment, but lays off. The Ego tries to hit a cheap shot, but Xeric counters, and slams Milman to the mat. The Ego gets up, and complains to the ref, who orders Xeric to go easy. The fans boo, and The Ego sticks a thumb in Xeric's eye. Targonsky pretends not to see, and Milman takes control. A snap suplex by The Elite member, and then a showboat, followed by a sidewalk slam. A cover. One, two, Xeric kicks free of the fast count, and he gives Targonsky a death stare, which has the guest ref backing off. Milman hits the distracted Xeric from behind, throwing him to the outside. He follows his opponent out, but is met with a right hand and a DDT onto the floor. The fans erupt, and Ben Xeric picks up a nearby chair, folding it for use. Once again, Targonsky steps in, disallowing the use of the object. Milman is back up, and he nails Xeric with a chair of his own! No call by the ref. Milman rolls Xeric back into the ring. One... two... Xeric gets a shoulder up! The Ego can't believe it, and neither can the ref! Milman chokes Xeric, for what seems like an, eternity, and tries another cover. Still, no victory. Suddenly, "Pretty Boy" Cory Chadwick re-appears on the scene. He makes his way to ringside, and climbs the ring apron. The Ego gives him a mouthful, and Chadwick grabs Milman by the hair. The fans are cheering, until "The Franchise" Mike Coristine runs down, followed by "The Essence" Shawn Meckligner". They pull Chadwick from the apron, and The Elite lay a beating on The Blond Bomber. As the two head off to the back, they push and shove each other, obviously not getting along. The Essence takes a swing, but The Franchise ducks, nailing a right of his own, which draws a great pop! In the ring, Ben Xeric is back up, and he spins the occupied Milman around, hitting the Zener Diode! The fans cheer, and The Ego is tapping out! But Ben Targonsky won't call the win. Xeric gets up, grabs the ref by the shirt and gears back for a punch. However, The Ego hits a low blow from behind, and then The Premium powerbomb! One... two... THREE!!! Ben Xeric is out of the WCFC! The fans boo as The Ego puts his shades back on, and leaves, and Chadwick limps back into the ring to console his unemployed buddy.
Match #5 (Tag Team Title Match): The Barrington Arms (champions) vs The New Jerseys
The New Jerseys receive a loud ovation from the Las Vegas crowd, as they sprint up the aisle and play the fans. But the cheers quickly turn to boos, as the WCFC Tag Team Champions show their faces. The Barrington Arms climb to the ring apron, before placing a six pack of beer in their corner. Buck The Boar starts things off with Dazzling David Sklar, as the ref calls for the bell. The two men lock up, and The Boar sends Sklar head over heels to the mat. Sklar locks horns once again with Buck Lockwood, but once again finds himself on the canvas. Dazzling Dave re-thinks his strategy, and this time slides between The Boar's legs. Buck turns around into a dropkick, but it's not enough to knock him off his feet. Another drop kick, and know Lockwood is teetering. Sklar with a body press, but The Boar catches him in mid-flight, and executes a fall-away slam. Buck tags in his brother Buford, and The Barrington Arms drop their opponent with a double clothesline. Buford whips Dazzling Dave into the buckle, and sends up in the air with a back body drop.
Brawlin' Buford takes his time with his opponent, which proves costly. Sklar surprises Lockwood with a package pin! One... two... Buford kicks out. Sklar reaches for a tag, and slaps his partner's hand. The crowd cheers, as Jumpin' Joey Cohen leaps over the top rope, and lands a springboard clothesline. The big Brawlin' Buford drops to the mat, and Cohen takes a shot at Buck The Boar for good measure. The fans cheer on Jumpin' J.C., who keeps the pressure on Brawlin' Burford in the ring. He hops up to his opponent's shoulder's and attempts a huracanranna, but Lockwood just drives him hard into the canvas with a powerbomb. Buford tags in Buck, as the tag champs focus on Joey Cohen's previously injured leg. They continue to use good team work in keeping their opponent grounded, and preventing a tag. With Buck the legal man, he throws Cohen to the outside and causes a distraction, while Buford slams the steel steps over The New Jersey member's knee. Officials hit the scene, and help Joey Cohen to his feet, but he can't stand. The ref declares that Dazzling David Sklar become the legal man, while Cohen is helped to the back against his will. Sklar takes on both Lockwoods, while the fans cheer on his efforts. Eventually, the Barrington Arms are too much, and Sklar falls victim to a powerslam at the hands of Brawlin' Buford. A cover. One... two... but Sklar kicks out. More double team action, as the Lockwood brothers execute a double gut buster. Another cover. One... two... still no three count. Buck The Boar launches Sklar into the air with a back body drop, but Dazzling Dave lands on his feet. He spins The Boar around and connects with reverse atomic drop. He follows that up with a bulldog, before heading to the top rope for the Dazzling Disaster. He gets set to jump, but Brawling Buford knocks him off his feet. Buford sits Sklar on top of his shoulders, and slams him to the mat with his Whiskey Shot. Buck climbs to the second buckle and land his Moonshine Splash, for part two of their team finisher known as The Hangover. One... two... THREE!!! The Barrington Arms retain the WCFC Tag Team belts! They toast their victory with a couple of beers, while the fans give Dazzling David Sklar a well-deserved ovation for his efforts.
Match #6 (Hardcore Title Match): Dan Heart vs Hunk of Dump
The fans get to their feet as The Zoo Crew's music fills the arena, and Hunk of Dump makes his way to the ring. Carrying a box of pudding and sporting his stained yellow and red Hunkamania T-shirt, Dump enters the ring and tries to tear of the shirt, but fails. He cups his ear to the crowd, who take to it very well. The cheers continue as Dan Heart is announced next, and as he heads to the ring, he appears armed and ready for combat, with a bat, a chain and a bag of tacs. They go at it right away, Heart swinging the bat at The Hunkster, who ducks and nails a right hand. Hearts drops the bat, but retaliates by smacking Dump with the chain wrapped around his disfigured hand. Hunk of Dump drops to the mat, but rolls to the outside. Heart goes to follow, but Dump pulls the hardcore great's feet out, and pulls him to the outside. In a matter of seconds, they are in the crowd, exchanging punches, until Heart manages to trip up the Hunkster, and clock him with a chair. One... two... he gets a shoulder up. Dump shakes off the affects, and fights back. They make their way to the sound system, where Dump shoves Heart into a speaker, which echoes into the arena, and tries to climb up the apparatus of gadgets. The 415 lb weight is too much, though, and the stands cave in! Heart recovers and climbs up the 15 foot speaker system, crashing down with an elbow! One... two... Dump kicks free. A frustrated, and battered Dan Heart stops a nearby aisle vendor, pulling out a few $20 bills, and taking his whole tray of goodies. He turns to nail Dump with his unique weapon, but The Hunkster kicks it back into his face, and food goes flying into the seats. Heart stumbles backward, tripping over a wire, before landing on in his soft drink mess. Dump pulls him to his feet, before slamming him on a table. The table doesn't break, so The Hunkster uses a chair as a stool and delivers a splash that breaks it in two. A cover. One... two... Heart kicks free. Fans clear out of the way, as the action heads toward the ramp. The two competitors head up the ramp, and to the back, cameras following closely. Heart and Dump disappear into a ladies' room, and after a young woman runs out of the restroom, the door behind her goes flying off. Hunk of Dump rolls along the floor, covered in toilet paper, as Heart carries with him a mop. He cracks the mop over The Hunkster's back, before rolling him onto a nearby four-wheel dolly. He rolls Dump to the ramp, and fans cheer as they are back in sight, bursting through the curtains. Heart gives the dolly a push, and Dump rolls all the way to the ring. The deranged one pulls Dump to his feet, rolling him in. Picking up a chair, he whacks his opponent one more time, but Dump shakes off the affects, and begins to "hunk up." The fans cheer as Heart unloads, but Dump continues to be unphazed, and he sends his opponent to the ropes. Big boot by Dump! He races to the ropes, and leaps for the Thunderbutt Splash, but Heart pulls the chair up in front of The Hunkster's face, and Dump's body crashes into the steel weapon, falling just short of his opponent. Heart with a pin! One... two.. THREE!!! Dan Heart is the Hardcore Champion! He hobbles away, giving the fans a wave with his disfigured hand.
