How did they get the name WetWetWet?
The name comes from a line in a Scritti Politti song called "Getting Having and Holding" which contains the lines "..his face was wet wet with tears". When the band first formed there were several bands around who had "double" names such as "Duran Duran" and "Talk Talk", so they thought it would be a nice touch to have a "triplicate" name!

Do the band open or read their own mail?
The band are very rarely in the office but when they do pop in they have been known to open & read the fan-mail and have sometimes phoned fans at home - to the astonishment of the fans who usually refuse to believe that a member of Wet Wet Wet is on the phone! But nowadays their schedule is so demanding that this rarely happens. We do however pass on any personal mail such as Birthday and Christmas cards to the individual band members.

How do we find out where and when the band will be touring?
As soon as we know any confirmed information we include it in the newsletters and on the phoneline. Unfortunately, we are rarely able to give advance notice of concert dates, as usually a Radio Station is given the exclusive right to announce the tour dates in return for promoting the tour. Its very hard for us but we do try to let you know as quickly as possible.
