Terry Archer's Business Card My Hot Rod promo picture

The Hot Rods were Terry Archer and me, working for the summer at a restaurant called The Wellhouse in Tierra Santa. This wasn't really a band, Terry played guitar and I played keyboards while we both sang along with pre-recorded music tracks of everything from Englebert Humperdinck to Led Zeppelin. This was a glorified karaoke gig, and for me, a weird situation to be sure. I needed an income, and this was a way to make it.

The Wellhouse was Terry's gig. I was invisable. That was OK. Among other things, I was rehearsing The Offbeats.
