I could write reams about The Offbeats. It's the band I'm currently in and it holds a very special place in my heart because in addition to being my bandmates, Doug Harrison and George Lewis are also close friends. They've stuck with me through thick and thin. They've been more loyal than my wives (grin). They're GREAT players and I respect them more than I can say.

When I was looking for a name for the band, I e-mailed Stuart Wood (Grapes of Wrath) in Phoenix and it was he that suggested The Offbeats. It fits. We do vintage rock, mostly British Invasion, and as a musical unit are one of the best of our kind in San Diego. We call ourselves "San Diego's Beatles", which on the surface may seem a bit over the top, but in reality also applies because we actually do a Beatlemania styled show if it's asked for.

Doug plays guitar, bass and sings; George plays drums and sings and I play bass, keyboards and sing. Much like TRACE, a tight trio that is a LOT of fun for me, and hopefully, for them. For the latest on The Offbeats check out our web site at: www.theoffbeats.com.
