Marc Blucas (Riley)

Marcus P Blucas was born in Gerard, PA on January 11. 1972.  That makes him 28 years old, not an unusual age for Buffy--anybody noticed how all the actors are way older than the roles they're playing?  Hmm...Anyway, Marc is an extremely talented basketball player, and in high school his team won 2 state championships.  He got a basketball scholarship to Wake Forest University, and graduated with a degree in business and communications.  He also got a bunch of American honours I don't understand, so I'm not gonna include them.  Basketball also helped him get his first acting role, in "Eddie," and then later he landed a role as--you guessed it--a basketball player in the teen flick "Pleasantville," alongside Tobey Maguire and Reese Witherspoon (Seth Green's best friend's wife--6 degrees much?) Marc's kept pretty busy by BtVS nowadays, but in his free time he refs youth basketball in LA, where Buffy is shot.  Even in real life, Riley's the sort of all around good guy.  Awww.
