 Gold
and Silver is the next generation of the Pokčmon games for game boy.
You are no longer Ash and there are new Pokčmon 101 to be exact,
there are now male and female of each Pokčmon but they don't
evolve into different Pokčmon like the Nidoran family lines
do.
There are all new
gym leaders. The elite for also has some new faces and some of the
old elite four members are gone. Once you have beaten the elite
four you can go back to the old world and battle the old gym
leaders and there are some new gym leaders here as well and some
of the old are gone.
There is a new Professor but you still meet up with oak.
   There
are three new starting Pokčmon to choose from and you have a new
rival. You can not get Mewtwo, Mew, the three legendary birds, but
not to worry you can get Lugia, HoHo, and the three legendary
dogs.
You have some new transportation namely a
skateboard.
the Pokčdex has a new look plus you get all this other gear like
a radio and a phone.
One of the best new
features of the game is to breed Pokčmon if you have a male and
female of the same species, you have to give the male and female
to this elderly couple of course everything comes at a price and
this is no exception.
There are some new
towns to explore and some weird stronger Pokčmon
these stronger Pokčmon usually appear randomly and at a certain
town you can find a red Gyrados, these Pokčmon are well stronger
than the usual ones. Also at the end of the game after you have
beaten all the gym leaders and the elite four you get to battle
Ash and he has some pretty strong Pokčmon at very high levels e.g.
Charizard, Venusaur, Blastoise, Pikachu etc. |
