Notes:
1. None of these characters are mine, excluding Kathleen.
2. This is a cross-over between Revolutionary Girl Utena & South Park
3. Ok, I’m sure most people have probably never heard of Utena, much less ever watched it, so I will try to explain it w/out taking too long. Utena goes to a school that is run by the student counsel, a group of 4 students who wear the rose seal, a ring with a rose on it. Utena has one of these rings because when she was a little girl, her parents died & a prince gave her the ring. This is also the reason that Utena wants to be a prince, even though she is a girl. Ok, so the student counsel use the rings to enter this arena that no one else can go into that is on top of this big-ass stair case. The student counsel is trying to bring revolution to the world, & they receive letters from “end of the world”, whatever the hell that is (only the first 4 tapes are in America, & they have yet to explain what “end of the world” is.) So, they fight to be engaged to Anthy, the rose bride, who does anything that the person she is engaged to wants & has to be engaged to whoever wins the duels, male or female. They say that the rose bride has the power to bring revolution to the world, & is also the carrier of the sword of dios, which has special powers. Ok, I think that covers it all. NEXT!
4. The characters:
Utena Tengou: Is currently engaged to the rose bride, Anthy. Wants to be a prince that rescues the princes in distress. Very much a tomboy, wishes for Anthy to be a normal girl. Is also searching for the prince that gave her the rose ring.
Anthy Himeiya: The rose bride. Is engaged to whomever wins the duels & must do whatever that person wishes. Mostly just waters the flowers in the rose garden. Very quiet, sort of prim and proper.
Touga Kiryuu: Student counsel president. Very sure of himself. A Playboy.
Nanami Kiryuu: Touga’s younger sister. Has a big brother complex & believes that she should be the only girl in his eyes. Will try to destroy anyone that tries to take her brother from her.
Sonoda Keiko, Wakiya Aiko, and Oose Yuuko: Nanami’s three followers. Are usually seen harassing Anthy for some reason of another.
Miki Kaoru: Student counsel member. Has a weird habit of timing things. Is extremely advanced in both his studies & his music playing. Is in love with Anthy.
Jury Arisugawa: Student counsel member. President of the fencing club.
Wakaba Shinohara: Utena’s best friend. Very hyper.
ChuChu: Anthy’s “friend” (pet, really) a cross between a mouse & a monkey. (he has the body of a small monkey but really big mouse ears with a gold hoop earing in one of them & wears a striped tie. He’s blue) Always eating. Just says “Chu-Chu”
All other characters are minor ones & really don’t matter to the story, so I’m not putting them in here.
5. Certain phrases (“oh my god, they killed Kenny!” “Grant me the power to bring the world revolution!”) all belong to those who made the shows, along w/ the characters that say them.
6. The shadow girls are these two girls that appear as shadows on the wall in about the middle of every episode of Utena. They act out a short scene that although does not directly link to the story line, it does have to do w/ it. It’s hard to explain, you’ll see when they show up.
7. In important scenes, there is always at least one spinning rose on the screen, usually there is one in each corner.
8. In all flashback scene, the faces are blacked out.
9. During the scene when the Student Counsel meets, no matter how serious the topic they are discussing, there is always something not seriouse going on. (EX. In one there are a bunch of balloons, one featured an apple on a plate that was cut into pieces while the characters were talking, in one Touga is throwing knives around Miki.)
10. The songs played during the battles usually have to do with the episode, but in a subtle and weird way. I will have one for during the duel scene, but I can tell you now it’s gonna suck.
11. I’m using the American version of the names. (i.e. Anthy instead of Ansi(SP?))
12. When all the characters are in the scene together, the South Park people still look the same, & the Utena people still look like anime characters.
13. Don’t ask me how the Utena characters speak English, they just do, it’d be kinda hard to do this story if they spoke Japanese.
14. Time line (for Utena): After episode 13, “Plotting a Locus”, at the end of the Student Counsel saga. So, Saionji is not a part of the school anymore, and any characters introduced after that are not in this.
Ok, I think that’s long enough. Now if you want, go on to the story if you want.
