Because the crash took place right outside the club, everyone inside heard what happened and ran outside. Once Ryan, Hayley and Mateo reached the parking lot they where able to see that, the man who had refused the cab was the cause of the accident. He was walking away from his car in perfect condition. "Look at the other car." Hayley exclaimed. "No one would be able to survive that." Mateo agreed. Ryan squinted at the other car and wondered why the car looked so familiar. It finally clicked. "Oh my god, that’s Gillian’s car." Ryan shouted as he took of running toward his ex-wife’s red car. Behind him he heard Hayley burst into tears as Mateo tried to get everyone back in to the club.
As he came closer to the car his heart stopped as he saw the damage. The whole front was crushed and the car was upside down. There was broken glass all over. The door to the drivers side was smashed in.
Then he saw her. It looked as if she was passed out, her head was against the window and she wasn’t moving. Never before in his whole life had he been this scared. "Gillian." He shouted coming closer to the door. "Gillian, can you hear me?" He yelled louder. By this time he could hear the police and ambulance sirens entering the parking lot. A couple of minutes later a police officer led Ryan out of the way so the paramedics could try to get her out of the car.
When they where a couple of feet away the police officer started to ask Ryan some questions. "Did you see what happened here?" was the first question.
"We, We heard the crash from inside the club. I ran out here to see what happened." Ryan told them
"Do you know the man that caused the accident?" The man asked Ryan pointing at the guy that was sitting inside of the police car. "He was drinking at the club and let before we could call him a cab. And the woman, inside the other car her name is Gillian Andrassy." After what seemed like hours Gillian was brought out of the car. Ryan hurried over to her. "Is she alive?" Ryan asked on of the paramedics. "Yes but she isn't Conscious. We are taking her PVH." He told Ryan. "Are you family?" He asked.
"Yes, well I’m her ex-husband. Can I ride to the hospital with you please?" Ryan begged him. The man looked into at Ryan and was able to see the love in his eyes. "Yes, but hurry up and get in we have to get her to the hospital now." He told him as he loaded the stretcher into the ambulance. Ryan jumped in, and the doors closed behind him.
