Luxurious 100% Pure Chenille Aztec Saddle Blanket: 28"x48" Have you ever had a saddlepad made of heavy, plush chenille? Try this one and you'll wonder why all saddlepads aren't made of this stuff! I can't say enough nice about this pad. I was amazed the first time I took my saddle off my horse after using this wonderful blanket. It actually "stands up" along your horse's spine creating a perfect air channel along the entire length of the blanket. I bought several from a traveling seamstress at the state fair and gave them to all of my friends, this is the only extra one I have left. I've used mine probably 20+ times and laundered it several and it shows no sign of loosing it's plushness or it's wonderful jet-black color, so I guess it's safe to sell the extra one. I guarantee your horse will love this blanket or your money back! $15 Click Here For Photos Please note dimensions given above, blanket runs small. It would not fit a larger adult square skirt or roper saddle (blanket would normally be 29"-30" across). This blanket fits my 15" barrel beautifully, it is the ONLY saddlepad I'll use for schooling with my English Jumping Saddle AND if that's not versatile enough for you, when used opened (single thickness) it fits my AUSTRALIAN SADDLE to a perfect tee. ***SOLD!*** Quality Nylon Horse Halter, These are $20 new. Made from double-thick 1" wide royal blue nylon web. "Full Horse" size (would fit a medium to larger horse.) 99.9% Brand New, hardware shows only the faintest tarnish, otherwise this halter is just about as unused as you can get. All stitching is sturdy and intact and nylon is completely stain & blemish free. Not a stray horsehair anywhere on it. $7 ***SOLD!*** Click here for picture

Farnam Supermask Flymask, X-Large size. 99% brand new, not a stitch out of place. Grey mesh with red fleece. $8 ***SOLD!!!*** Click for picture.

Authentic Double-Ear Western Headstall for Mini or Pony This is why we own minis, people! So we can dress them up in cutey-pie stuff like this. Beautiful pale creme leather with white stitching and brown hand-rubbed edges. Silver buckle on cheek and spiral-shaped chicago screws on bit ends & rein ends. The double ears are free-sliding, not only allowing for a wide range of size adjustment, but you can take one off if the one-ear style suits your fancy. Crown adjusts from a maximum of 32.5 inches to a minimum of 26 inches (room for more holes either way if need be). Reins are 60" and sport a sliding keeper to hold the reins together in case little hands drop one of them. You won't find a bridle like this anywhere else for this price! $15 SOLD!!! Multi- Color Rain Bow Training Reins for Young Riders & Ponies These are fun! They started as a lesson aid for use at home, but they've found their way into show rings everywhere. No more constantly reminding your little one to "take up some rein!" Just tell them "keep your fingers in the blue!" and problem solved! Perfect Little English Saddlepad White quilt with black binded edges. Features billet loops and girth loops just like the big guy's saddlepads. Measures 14" along the spine with a 13.25" drop. Would fit a 10" or 12" English saddle sized for a mini or leadline pony. Used only once for a family photo op, and then laundered to 99% newness. $14.95 in the Libertyville catalog, snatch this one for $7 SOLD!!! Clicky for Piky

Dressage or Mini Girth with Double Elastic Ends, 26" I have this listed in with the dressage stuff under the English Tack heading below, but I'll list it here too, because I used it once as a mini girth in a pinch, and it worked great! Made of washable black padded cotton web. It fit my 40" Shetland on a 14" English saddle with "regular" (short) length billets on the 2nd-to-last hole on both sides, so it would work for a smaller mini, or a slightly bigger pony especially if it were a 15" saddle with longer billets than my tiny 14" saddle. Just a thought. . . where else are you going to get a girth for only $10!? ***SOLD!!!*** Click here for pictures

Bits

Cheapy Aluminum Snaffle Bit, 5.25" Admittedly, this is a cheaply-made bit. Would be good to just stick in a colt's mouth for lungeing or whatever. The best thing to use it for would be to clip to a halter (for a stallion or other horse that needs more control) because it's got real small rings (only 2") like a dressage bridoon for a double bridle. I figure for only $2 ***SOLD!!!*** somebody out there will get some good use out of it! Click Here for A Pic

Rubber Dog Bone Bit, 4.75" Great for sensitive mouthed horses and for gentle introduction of the bit to an unbroke horse. My super-sensitive, high-headed mare always needed a running martingale to stop her safely when we went out galloping through the abandoned orange groves. But put a martingale on her with a metal bit and she'd crow hop me into the trees if I needed a quick stop! This bit solved my problem, she could lean on it with no pain. Also great as an interim bit to use on a horse that's been ridden too roughly that you're trying to retrain. A great bit that should be in every barn: $5 ***SOLD!!!*** Click here for photo

Wonder Bit (sometimes known as an "Elevator" Bit) with Sweet Iron Mouth, 5" Fabulous, versatile bit in experienced hands. Aptly named, this "smart" bit has a unique cheek design that allows the mouthpiece to move forward when reins are pulled, which gives the horse time to think & react BEFORE the curb chain and mouthpiece tighten. Excellent for lightening a heavy, tough horse and also very good for fine-tuning communication between a hot or complicated horse and its rider under demanding riding conditions. Favored by equestrians in high-adrenaline pursuits, this bit is currently popular in the upper levels of Grand Prix Showjumping, but is also widely used by professional Polo Players, Barrel Racing enthusiasts and the western community at large on fit, game horses. Stainless steel with a sweet iron twisted snaffle mouth, this bit is 100% brand new & unused. Buy the one I have for LESS than half the list price in Dover & Miller's catalogs, only $20! ***SOLD!!!***Click For Pick

Double Twisted Wire Snaffle Bit, 5" Mouth Similar to above, but considerably more severe, and without elevator cheeks. When used with care, this bit can be used very successfully on hot horses or very cold horses with dead mouths. All stainless steel construction, this bit is also brand new, never used. $15 ***SOLD!!!***Click Here

Tom-Thumb Type Bit, 5" Gentle bit with a sweet curve to the medium weight jointed mouthpiece (circumference of approx 1/2"). Six inch shanks allow just a little bit of poll pressure without loosing it's snaffle action. Great transistion bit to graduate a horse from a snaffle (and/or English) bit to a straight bar or ported (western) bit. Encourages breaking at the poll without being severe. Gentle enough for youngsters, but the ability to apply poll pressure may give you just the little extra control you need for a horse that's a little bit hot, but whose mouth is too sensitive to go to a thinner or otherwise more severe bit. Also very popular gaited-horse bit for Walkers and others. Stainless steel, 100% brand new, NEVER used. Check the catalogs, this bit is less than 1/2 price at only $15 ***SOLD!!!*** Click for Photo

Traditional Pelham, 5" Medium to lighter-weight bit. Mullen mouthpiece is 1/2inch diameter. Spotted with very slight rust that is flush to the surface of the bit. $6 ***SOLD!!!*** Click for a picture.

Traditional Pelham, 5" Medium weight bit. Mullen mouthpiece is 5/8inch diameter. Little bit heavier than one listed above. Better quality metal has worn to a nice naturally-tarnished finish, undoubtedly has a small copper content. $10 ***SOLD!!!*** Click for a picture.

Slotted Kimberwicke, 5.25" Low-ported mouthpiece is 1/2" diameter. Gorgeous antique patina, just what horsemen of old look for in a good bit. Enough copper content to encourage a moist mouth. Very fairly priced @ $10 ***SOLD!!!*** Click for a picture.

Slotted Kimberwicke, 5" Nearly identical to one listed above, only mouth is 5", not 5.25" and comes with a curb chain. Stamped "Made In England". Equally good buy @ $11 ***SOLD!!!*** Click for a picture.

The Last English Girth You'll Ever Have To Buy  I got 3 of these from a tack dealer that was having a going out of business sale. I've kept one for myself (and believe me when I tell you the last thing I need is another girth!) and I LOVE it! Hamilton Web Girths wick sweat away from your horse and are guaranteed "no-chafe" and "no-slip" with a ribbed design that prevents pressure points. Lifetime stainless-steel buckles have rollers to help preserve your billets. They're machine washable, quick drying and boy do they wash-n-wear great! I have 2 that I am willing to sell. Made abroad, so they're marked "125 cm" and "135 cm" which translates to 49" and 53", respectively. Both are brown. Can be found for $34.95 to $39.95 in Miller's, Dover's and State Line Tack Catalogs. Share in my lucky find for only $18 ea *** UPDATE:53" Has Sold! 49" STILL AVAILABLE--------Further Update: 49" Sold As Well!!! Click Here For Picture

Plain English Browband, Browband broken or missing? Maybe the crown & cheeks fit ok on the bridle you just bought, but the browband is too small or large? Well, here's your replacement. Quality Figure 8 Noseband Ever pick up a piece of quality tack and notice immediately how much nicer it is than the cheap stuff? Well, this is one of those pieces. The leather has a "heft" to it, it is so dense that it doesn't appear to have any pores. You'd almost think it's synthetic, but it's not. It's an expensive piece of tack from a professional jumper barn that was used - and cared for- every day for a long time. The only cosmetic blemishes include a) some chaw marks at the bottom of the 8 where, undoubtedly, some playful horse took to chewing on it after his rider loosened it; and b) sweat/saliva has faded the leather color on the underside of the bottom of the 8. Other than that, it's in perfect working order and should outlive whatever bridle you put it on. Super-adjustable, I've seen it on a warmblood and a small cob. Whether you're used to this kind of quality, or it's a real treat for you, it's a steal @ $12 ***SOLD!!!*** either way! Click Here For 2 Pics

English Hunt Bridle with Laced Reins Just about as traditional as you can get. No frills, no surprises. Just a good all-around bridle that looks only lightly used. Medium to dark brown. Hardware's good, stitching's sound, holes are punched neat & square, leather's in uniformly good shape. Generously-cut horse size: cheek over crown to cheek measures from a minimum of 38.5" to a maximum of 46" bit-end to bit-end. Can't go wrong for $20 ***SOLD!!!***Click Here For Pics

Flashy English Show Bridle with "Diamond" Studs Stop traffic in this bridle! Quality, super-supple havanna brown leather is adorned with a row of faux diamonds or rhinestones in the brow AND in the nose. Glitters in the sunlight, downright flattering on ANY horse. FABULOUS craftsmanship, absolutely worthy of any Grand Prix Ring. Got it in trade, so I'll sell it for 1/3 of what she paid for it! $45 ***SOLD!!!*** Click here for photos

Grand Prix Quality Figure 8 Jumper Bridle with Flat Reins This is the bridle professionals use. Best leather available, heavy solid brass hardware, quick-change bit clips on cheekpieces, martingale stops on reins, authentic sheepskin padding on center of nose. 100% Brand New and Never Used, Never oiled. Bought for a horse that I have since discovered has more of an aptitude for Dressage. I think this bridle cost between $160-$170 in the Miller's catalog a while back, but now I see the same bridle is up to $200! It's been in my closet all this time, it's never been touched. A Sacrifice At Only $65 ***SOLD!!!*** Click here for photos

Jumper Girths, English leather, very high quality originally $80 & $90 a piece. Both measure exactly 53" buckle to buckle. Used in a professional jumper barn so they were soaped 6 or 7 times a day so the leather color has faded light & streaky in spots and there are saddlesoap stains on the elastic ends. Both have some pock marks in their centers from jumper studs, but it's purely cosemetic damage. Other than that there is nothing else wrong with the integrity of these girths. The leather is sound and all stitching is intact. Triple thick elastic ends with roller buckles, hardware in perfect shape. You could probably show in them if you took them to your saddler and had them re-dyed a darker color. Otherwise they have decades of use left as schooling girths. $15 each. ***Both SOLD!***

Polo Pony Girth with English Buckles, Measures 40" buckle to buckle-(29" ring to ring, for anybody thinking they could use it Western) For a skinny polo pony, cob horse, fat pony OR use on a regular size horse with those longer-billeted Australian saddles. Primarily of string construction (like a western girth) but it has "equalizer" or "humane" type ends. The billet buckles on both ends are connected to each other by a twisted loop of leather. Pull on one, and it shortens the other. This kind of girth is the only answer to a saddle whose billets are all stretched out of shape and the holes are at all different heights. But even on a level-billeted saddle this kind of girth offers superior weight distribution. Polo and gaited-horse people have been using these girths for years, but the hunt-seat and dressage catalogs are just now catching on and selling these girths for outrageous prices! Own this one for only $12.50! ***SOLD!!!*** Click here for pictures

3-Buckle Dressage Girth With Double Elastic Ends Shows alot of use, but it's got a lot of life left in it. Made of washable black padded cotton web with nylon strap reinforcements. The buckles are rusty and the elastic ends are stained and you'll find some stray horsehairs embedded in the stitching, but it's a comfortable & smartly made girth for everyday use. My favorite feature of this girth: the extra sleeves to tuck leftover billets in. Anybody out there with billets that are way longer than they need to be knows what I'm talking about! I don't believe anyone would notice that it's not made of leather when on your horse. Measures 26" buckle-to-buckle, but remember it's got elastic on both sides, so it stretches an inch either way. Probably retails for around $30-$40 when new. Pick this one up for $10 ***SOLD!!!*** Click here for pictures . . . Would also double as a lungeing surcingle or driving harness girth, as well as an English girth for a Mini or Small Pony

Shaped White Dressage Saddlepad, Snow white fleece on topside, quilted underside. Only used at 3 shows, in near perfect shape. Freshly laundered, not a stain or blemish anywhere that shows. ***SOLD!*** $14 Click here for photos

English Shaped Schooling Saddlepad, Made of heavy pressed grey felt. Not the prettiest saddlepad you've ever seen, but this is one great pad! I've never had this pad chafe or slip, it absorbs sweat like nobody's business. If you use it on the same horse continuously, it actually starts to take on the shape of that horse. Excellent for heavy daily schooling. $10 ***SOLD!***

Black nylon stirrup "leathers" or straps, Good for schooling dressage, so you don't have to constantly soap your leather ones, or would match those Wintec or other synthetic brand saddles. Slightly used, but nothing wrong with them, buckles are rust free. Somebody wrote "R" and "L" in white letters at the top of them, I think because one is one hole longer than the other (does not compromise their usefulness - just run one up one hole higher than the other) The "R" and the "L" do not show when you are using them. $5 ***SOLD!*** Fillis Stirrups, 4 3/4 inches. Nice and weighty. Very well formed and balanced, would be about $35 new in the catalogs. Zero rust, some slight natural tarnish, not detectable by anyone on the ground when you are riding. White used stirrup pads included. $10 ***SOLD!***

Double Offset Fillis Stirrups, The stirrup loop and footplate are both offset at an angle to assist weak/new riders in keeping their knees in and heels down. If your trainer's been complaining about your leg position, these are the stirrups for you! You gain instant security the first time you use them. I rode in these for years when I first began riding, I loved them so much it made me wonder why they didn't make all stirrups this way! But I have just bought brass stirrups to match my horse's bit and hardware on my saddle, so I won't use them anymore. Freshly scoured, not even a speck of tarnish anywhere. $60 in the Dover catalog. Brand new white stirrup pads included. $25 ***SOLD!*** Click here for photos

Hunt stirrups, 4 1/4 inches. Few specs of rust. Black stirrups pads included, about $19-$20 new in the catalogs. $6 ***SOLD!***

Suede Schooling Chaps, super-high quality. Great for summer riding! Go to the barn in shorts instead of a hot pair of pants, do your chores, tack up your horse, and right before you're ready to ride, just zip up your chaps! Light tan colored, nice heavy soft suede, never-rust zippers. 13" Calf, 22" Thigh, 31" Inseam, 39" Outseam. (Trimmable by up to 3 inches) 100% Brand New, Never Worn Even Once! "BarnStable Riding" Brand. Sold @ Winter Equestrian Festival for nearly $200, will sacrifice for $65. . . Price Slashed to $50! ***SOLD!***

Traditional English Foxhunting Boots Also called "galloping boots" by some, these boots are as equally appropriate for the jumper ring as they are for the foxhunting field. Made in England by Jeffries in a very traditional design that's been popular for nearly a century, they feature stainless steel buckles with rollers to prolong leather life, 4 strap closure, elastic on both ends, and holes punched closer than 3/8" inch for a very custom fit. The Genuine English Leather is lined with heavy pressed felt that conforms wonderfully to the horse's leg and then brushes clean with a stiff brush after use. Will fit front or hind legs. Absolutely BRAND NEW, still has that wonderful, rich new-leather smell. I'm thinking these are worth at least $25 even if they were used. . . but I'm in a good mood so you can snatch the pair for $15 ***SOLD!!!*** Hurry, before I change my mind! Click here for photos

Grand-Prix Jumper Quality Hind Ankle Boots Leather lined with plush Authentic Sheepskin, NOT synthetic fleece. Made in England for Beval's Ltd. The choice of professional jumper riders everywhere, these boots were $80-$90 when new. They show use, but are free from heavy soil and are still sound, sturdy and have plenty of fences left in them. Also favored by Harness Racers for their Standardbred Trotters or Pacers that interfere behind. Enjoy the protection this pair offers for only $20 ***SOLD!!!*** Click for my Pics

Great All-Around English or Jumping Saddle, 16.75" Seat with slightly longer/larger flaps for dresage/flatwork or someone w/a little length of leg. (When you shorten your stirrups for jumping does your knee protrude beyond the leg flap? Then this saddle is for you! Plenty of room for riders with a greater distance between hip and knee) This saddle is just barely used (ridden in once!). Not a name brand, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with this saddle. Tree is sound, billets are rock-solid (lined with seatbelt nylon for lifetime strength), evenly stuffed panels are nice and broad to contact the maximum surface area for your horse's comfort. NEAT FEATURE OF THIS SADDLE: It has hidden knee roll blocks that are attached with velcro. You can position them up/down, side to side or remove them completely! Allows excellent easy changeover from flat work to jumping. GREAT IDEA for someone who rides multiple horses ---OR--- for a LESSON BARN that has to accomodate multiple riders. Customizable fit pleases almost everybody! The Particulars: 16.75" Seat, Generous Medium Tree (A lot of wither clearance), Padded Knee Area, Flap is a little longer than average to accomodate a taller rider, Color is Havanna Brown, All Leather Construction. Grand Prix Quality Jumping Saddle, 17.25" Made by JM saddlery in Buenos Aires and the very same craftsmen that manufacture the world-renowned Pessoa saddles. Absolute TOP OF THE LINE stitching and workmanship. Butter-soft leather rides like a dream. Comfortable enough for extended trail-rides, but complete with knee rolls and thigh blocks, this is a true professional level jumping saddle. You have my word you CANNOT be disappointed in the luxury quality of this saddle, it has to be felt to be believed. I bought it for a too-young horse that I have since discovered has more of an aptitude for dressage, 100% BRAND NEW, retails for nearly $1,000. Mounted Police or Park Ranger Saddle (English Style Endurance Saddle) Seville Marathon, identical to the Collegiate Marathon saddle on p 198 of this year's State Line Tack Catalog for $985.00 (go to http://statelinetack.com/viewProduct.do?prodNum=EI3-731919 to read State Line's description.) It's Havanna brown w/a super-deep quilted seat, padded knee rolls and seatbelt-nylon backed billets for strength. Outrageously comfortable, I love this saddle! But sadly, it does not fit my skinny TB mare. Would fit a flat backed, deep chested, broad withered, round barreled Arab, QH, Saddlebred, Warmblood or perhaps a Draft horse. I weigh 140lbs and feel very secure in this saddle, but I'm sure it could accomodate someone larger, even a man. 99% BRAND NEW. Ridden in maybe only 1 & 1/2 hrs total. WILL CONSIDER LETTING YOU TEST RIDE. Will Sadly Sacrifice for $400***Finally SOLD!*** Click here for pictures.

GORGEOUS Polo or Fox Hunting Saddle - 19" Beautiful, very hard to find "London" color flaps and panels with a chocolate-colored plush suede seat that is very kind to the bum! Seat has a rounder (wider) design than your average English saddle which is great for riders with broader hips (and men!) because it helps eliminate that feeling of sitting on the edge of your seatbones. Narrow twist, high pommel and the deep nap to the suede makes for a secure ride, so don't feel that if you normally take a smaller saddle, this saddle would be way too big for you. I normally take a 17.5" and feel this saddle is a wonderful fit, but of course there is a lot of room to accomodate a larger than average rider. Rigging allows for use of a WESTERN OR ENGLISH girth. There is an overgirth slot for proper use of an overgirth -(so many people just wrap their overgirth around the entire outside of their English saddle, tsk tsk! It can slide back!) -especially useful for strenuous activity. Unusual underpanels are of the Argentine design, what they call a "quarter flap" (does not have a full size skirt under the leg flap, just a tear-drop shaped flap of leather that goes immediately behind the billets. This cool, comfortable design allows for the ULTIMATE in close contact (wonderful if you have a very round horse that you DON'T want to add any more bulk to!). In the same vein, this saddle does NOT have knee rolls, just a contoured leg flap that still needs breaking in. This saddle is almost brand new, ridden in maybe 5-7 hrs. It is a medium tree, but it is cut with the Thoroughbred in mind (a LOT of pommel clearance- but if your horse has lower withers, remember you can never have too much wither clearance!) A friend of mine rides endurance and she suggested I market this saddle to endurance people because of the wide seat and the ability to use a western girth, I think it's just a great trail riding saddle. I've been using it on my Tennessee Walker just for fun, and it fits him great! But he's really a western horse, and I'm out of saddle racks in my tiny tackroom, so it's time to pass this gorgeous piece of tack along. STEAL IT for only $300! ***Sadly SOLD!!!*** Click Here For Extensive Photos Price is firm, please do not email me with a lower offer, thank you. Test Rides welcome with certain strict restrictions, e for details.

English/Jumping Saddle, 15.5" Seat This saddle should be every kid's "first" saddle. It's been ridden in enough that the flaps are broken in just perfect, slightly hugging the rider's leg. But it hasn't gotten stiff or mis-shapen, the flaps are wonderfully supple. The thing that struck me about it when I bought it was the fact that even though it had dust and cobwebs under the jockey flaps (indicating that the previous owner hadn't cleaned/oiled it in a long time) the leather was still uniformly soft and pliable throughout. I've barely cared for it since, and it's just as nice today. Only blemishes include scuffing on the rim of the cantle (see photos) from a bad kid who set it upside down on concrete! and some color fading in the area of the rider's thigh (again, see photos) which doesn't show when someone is sitting in it anyways. The suede knee rolls are remarkably clean for a child's saddle, I'm sure it's still nice enough to show in. Priced at a very fair $100 ***SOLD!!!*** Click Here for Tons of Photos!

VERY Pretty Creme or Natural Color Square-Skirt Western Saddle With Chocolate Suede Seat This is Wintec's "classier" model saddle made with their "leather look" material and a very durable, stain resistant microfiber seat. It has extra features like: a more generously padded seat with fancy buckstitching, contrasting skirt piping, heavier fleece on the underside and fancy decorative brass conchos with a cool circular barb-wired design; as well as all the usual features Wintec fans have come to love: solid stainless steel rigging, flexible fiberglass tree with a five year guarantee, quick change stirrup buckles, super-easy maintainance and super-lightweight! (18 lbs). I am selling this saddle for a friend who had a lot of hurricane damage and needs the money for home repair. I don't know the tree size, but wither tracings are welcome. It is a 15" seat and it's important to note that the stirrup fenders are cut for someone NO TALLER THAN 5'8" or so. To give you an idea, the stirrups drop to a maximum of 33" from the dead center of the seat, which corresponds to someone with an inseam of about 28" or less - remember this is the maximum! I mention this because Wintec fenders usually adjust for someone up to 6' tall. This saddle is about 2 years old and shows almost no noticable wear. It's only been ridden in 5 or 6 times by beginners who mostly walked in it (and who all, by the way, commented on how comfortable it is!). It is dusty from storage, but is still truly beautiful enough for any showring. Near & off billets are included, cinch is not. Hurricane Special: I will send this saddle anywhere in the 48, insured w/delivery confirmation for only $275! That's a substantial discount off the new price of $399, plus you're getting shipping for FREE! I've had my own hurricane damage myself, and unfortunately my digital camera was among the lost, so I'm sorry I can't take pictures right now. I was, however, able to scan in the picture below from the tag that came with the saddle. This saddle is IDENTICAL to one pictured, just dusty from storage.

Little Buckaroo's Starter Kit Set includes 12" child's western saddle, barrel style w/floral tooling. This is a small version of a REAL western saddle. A kid could actually do some real work in this saddle, it's not one of those cardboard-leather things stapled together like you see at the $2 pony rides they give at the fairgrounds. Old & well used, but well loved, stitching is sturdy & intact, has a brand new near-side billet. Dark brown leather skirts w/a medium brown suede seat that does show use (some stains & smudges, but nothing ugly.) Measured from the center of the saddle, a couple of inches behind the pommel, the stirrups drop from 19" to 29". Comes complete with a 23" 11 strand cotton string girth (billets are really long, so plenty of room for adjustment or could pair with a horse-size girth for use on a horse) in used but perfect shape. Also a blue fluff pad, again shows evidence of use, but is freshly laundered and is without a stain or stray horsehair anywhere. AND a Pony size (highly adjustable has fit a 10hd Shetland and a 13.3 hand Arab) leather browband headstall with 51" reins and 4.25 inch basic curb bit with leather curb strap. All for only $100! ***SOLD!*** Click here for pictures.

Schooling Surcingle, leather and cotton web For lungeing/ground driving. Eight rings allow for different rein positions. 23.5 inch girth conveniently doubles as a schooling girth for a long billeted dressage saddle. (I used it for just such a purpose for years: lunge my mare first, then take her back to the barn, swap the top half of the surcingle for a saddle, and I'd only have one sweaty girth to contend with.) Well used but well loved, stitching is sound and intact. I don't know if the rings are stainless steel or not, but they look like it, not a spec of rust on them, the girth buckles have some black tarnish. $25***SOLD!***

Lunge Whip 68" Shaft, 72" Lash (includes popper) Black braided nylon over fiberglass shaft. Rubber handle. Nothing wrong with it, just cheap cause I want to get rid of it! $6 ***SOLD!***

Grand Prix Quality Dressage Whip Measures exactly 49" end to end which includes the 5" trimmable lash (44" shaft). Brass peaked mushroom cap and brass ferrule accent the lovely leather-wrapped handle. Not too thick, not too thin. Straight as an arrow with perfect balance, weight & symmetry. Compare this to the "econo" whips in your barn and the outstanding quality is immediately clear. Definately worthy of use at the top shows, I am sure this would be a $50 whip at any dressage boutique/tackshop. I got it in trade, so I'm practically giving it away for $12 ***SOLD!!!*** No evidence of use whatsoever. Click here for super-close up pixs of handle and lash

Western Reins, Dark Brown, Used but in good condition. . . COMING SOON!!! SOLD before I got the full description up!!!

"Leopard Skin" Bridle Can you say FLASHY??? This headstall bridle complete with matching reins is black nylon with a neat velvety overlay in a faux leopard skin pattern. Guaranteed you'll ooh and ahh the first time you feel this stuff. Made by Ronmar, this bridle is 100% UNUSED. It was $42.95 new, I bought it with the intention of eventually collecting the entire set, but then realized I've got too many sets as it is. Says it's a cob size, but it fits my 15.3h TB (who usually takes a horse size bridle) if I either A) add clips to the bit ends for easy bit change or B) use it with my English hackamore that has long/tall shanks. Anyways, to give you an idea, the crown & cheekpiece assembled measure from 28" to 37"long. It's so adjustable I think it would fit all the way down to a barrel pony. First $22 takes it! ***SOLD*** Click here for pictures.

Pretty Light-Creme Colored Double-Ear Headstall & Reins for Mini or Pony Beautiful bridle is accented with white stitching and brown hand-rubbed edges. It has a silver buckle on cheek and spiral-shaped chicago screws on bit ends & rein ends. The double ears are free-sliding, not only allowing for a wide range of size adjustment, but you can take one off if the one-ear style suits your fancy. Crown adjusts from a maximum of 32.5 inches to a minimum of 26 inches (room for a hole or two more either way if need be). Reins are 60" and sport a sliding keeper to hold the reins together in case little hands drop one of them. It's hard to find a bridle this nice that is this small! You won't find one like this anywhere else for this price! $15 ***SOLD!!!***Click For Photo Page

Plain Browband, Want to convert that one-ear headstall to a browband headstall? Dog chew your other browband? Well, here's an extry one for ya. Measures 14.5" x 1/2". Plain, flat havanna brown colored, would match the reins offered below. $1 ***SOLD!!!***Click for actual-size pics

Western Reins, Plain flat leather. Medium to dark brown. Silver rosette Chicago screws at bit ends. 6' x 5/8 inch. Nice and flexible. $8***SOLD!***

Western Sythetic/Nylon Riding Set, Black with turquoise-colored accents. Set includes: Browband Headstall with Throatlatch, Tom Thumb type snaffle bit with curb chain, 6' Split Reins, Bosal Type noseband with tie down. Y shaped breastblate with easy on/off adjustable spring clips, no buckles to undo! All the conway buckles and clips are shiny and 100% brand new (I just replaced them) The rings in the center of the breatplate and the bosal are brown with surface rust, but it does not compromise the set's usefulness. Highly adjustable, used on a 14.1h Arabian, and a 16.2h Tennessee Walker. Freshly cleaned, not a stray horsehair anywhere. It cost me $85 to collect the set, I will sell for $45***SOLD!***

Faux Zebra Skin Breastplate Traditional Y shape design with big ring in the center of chest. Double-thick black nylon web backed with generous black fleece for comfort. All 3 sections have a strip of faux-animal skin in a zebra pattern. Clip at bottom for easy on/off at the girth. Buckles with reinforced eyelets at the top. The top straps are narrow enough to go through the dees on an English saddle. Besides being used western, I think this breastplate would look cool with those square English saddlepads and polowraps with zebra pattern on them that everyone's using now. Made by Ronmar, was $39.95 new, never been ridden in it's a great deal at $20 ***SOLD!!!*** Click here for pictures.

Emergency Horse Shoe Pullers or Hoof Nippers Horse have a loose shoe? Maybe your horse already lost one front shoe and the farrier's gone for the weekend and you don't want your horse walking around "one shoe on and one shoe off" for several days? Well, here's your solution! This handy tool should be in every equestrian's tack trunk. Allowing your horse to walk around with a loose shoe is an invitation to disaster, but we all know our blacksmiths can't get there immediately. So what do you do? Lock your horse in a padded cell so he won't hurt himself? Of course not! Just relieve your horse of the offending shoe with this tool. It has a special groove built into the bottom of the handle that slides under the heads of the horseshoe nails allowing you to loosen them (if not already loose). Once the shoe is loose simply use the head of the tool to pull the shoe away from the foot with a downward motion. The head can also be used to trim flaps off the frog, or "hangnails" along the rim of the hoofwall. You may not need this tool often, but when you do, it's absolutely INDESPENSIBLE! Only $10 ***SOLD!!!***Click for Picture

Electric Face Clippers/Trimmers These do a great job on muzzle whiskers and lower eye whiskers, ears and maybe touch up the fetlocks a little. They are NOT for a lot of body hair. They will get hot if you run them for longer than 15 or 20 minutes at a time. However, if you have a light-coated horse and you're just looking for light touch ups, these are a great deal. They have a thumb lever that lets you adjust from very close to coarser clipping and comes with plastic guide combs #1 - #4. I've found these guide combs are useful for taking the feather off the backs of the cannons with out having to clip to the skin (which makes the legs look choppy if you don't feel like clipping the whole leg). The blades are freshly sharpened and the motor has barely been used. I bought them because I couldn't find my original ones, but then I found them again, and now I don't need 2 pairs. So you can pick them up for only $10 ***SOLD!!!*** Click Here For Picture

Black Velvet Show Girth with White Stitching, 46" Neat, neat girth for the showring! I'm thinking Saddleseat/Saddlebred or Arabian Costume Class. Would also make a statement as a fancier-than-usual Dressage Girth! Might even be the crowning touch for a "Spanish" horse breed outfit (Andalusian, Peruvian/Paso Fino, etc) Chrome buckles are attached with heavy leather tabs. The entire body of the girth has a slight elasticity that equalizes pressure throughout the length of the girth and I'm sure the horse finds very comfortable! I would love to try it on my horse, but I won't use it because this girth is 100% BRAND NEW and I don't want to get it dirty, LOL! This is a UNIQUE, ONE-OF-A-KIND girth that I dare you to find anywhere else! I got it in trade, so the first $20***SOLD!!!*** takes it! Click for Pic

Super-Lightweight Aluminum Stirrups An endurance rider, polo player, jockey etc. may like these cause they are SO lightweight - just barely 5 ounces each! (Compare to average fillis stirrups that can weigh up to two pounds!) These are unusual because they don't have traditional rubber stirrup pads. Instead, there is a gritty sandpaper material permanently attached to the footplate, but other than that they look like regular English stirrups. Are you concerned about how much weight your horse is carrying? These are for you! Only $14 Click here for closeup pictureSOLD!!!

Miller's FLEX Equitation Stirrups by Korsteel Traditional look fillis stirrups have a hidden secret: the footplate swivels to 70' degrees to promote the perfect heel angle for equitation. Not just for the showring, these stirrups reduce fatigue during long schooling hours. EXCELLENT for people with short achilles' tendons, and I can testify from personal experience that they are a lifesaver when recovering from an ankle injury. Blemish-free stainless steel and snow white stirrup pads add the crowning touch to any professional outfit. STEAL these for 1/3 of what the Winter Equestrian Festival vendors have them priced at: Only $25! ***SALE PENDING!!!*** Click Here for Pics

Special Wither Comfort Schooling Pad Built-up over the withers with super-duper squishy medical-grade foam that will NOT break down over time. GREAT for sore withered horses or horses suffering muscle wastage from being out of work, or for fixing problems of saddle fit (tree too wide) or balance (horse feels downhill/low in front). Is your horse low-spined (not prominent) mutton withered and feels downhill in front? He/she may actually be wearing a saddle tree that is too wide, even though you've been told the tree is correct because the gullet clearance over the withers passes the "two-finger" test. This is a great pad for fixing just that problem. The built-up area over the withers flows gradually into the rest of the pad, with no sudden drop off or lump as unfortunately happens when you try to correct the aforementioned problem with a pommel pad. This pad's not just for mutton withered horses though, could be used for thoroughbreds too, as it has a nicely defined gullet that "stands up" along the entire length of the horse's spine allowing air circulation and relieving pressure. This pad is from my own personal barn and was purchased for and used successfully on an underweight polo pony. That horse has been FAT for years now, but I kept the pad because it did such a good job and thought I might need it again someday, but now I've decided it's better to be on the back of a horse that needs it than on the back of a saddlerack. I don't remember what I paid for it. . . I'm thinking it was in the $45-$50 range. I'll sell for $25.***SOLD!!!***
