So how did two penguins in the South Pole get addicted to watching Beakman's World? Where did they come from? Well according to a post on alt.tv.beakmans-world 7/4/96 by Mark Ritts, "I believe Ted Fields and Dan DeStephano, the guys who came up with the original idea, just thought it would be funny to have a couple of penguins following the show in Antarctica."
So there you have it folks! Pretty wild and crazy.
Did you know that the penguins suffer from a split personality? Herb and Don were operated by Mark Ritts (yes! Lester!) and Steve Sherman while their voices were done by Alan Barzman and Bert Berdis.
