Beakman's World

Beakman Dancing

Beakman's World is in many respects the kind of television show that advocates of children's educational programming have been clamoring for." - New York Times

Welcome to

Beakmaniac's World!

Beakman is Back!

(New York Times Article-registration may be required) - Many thanks to Mark Ritts (a.k.a. Lester) for being such a great friend to the Beakmaniacs. He's been great about keeping us all updated over the years on the latest developments.

New to Beakman's World? This is the UNOFFICIAL page for the much loved show. Beakman was originally taken off the air back in 1997. The monster found below was originally created back in the days when the internet was a wee babe (those green dots in the background were high tech) to preserve Beakman's World pictures, information, and sounds as they began disappearing off the web. Credit is given to those who have contributed, but if something here is yours, drop me a line and I'll make sure to give you a shout of thanks!

What's New - 11/07/07

Sony has a new Beakman's World site! It's so pretty! Thanks Mark Ritts!

Who is Mark Ritts? You've come to the right place, my friends. Here are the official sites for the cast members (with much more up to date info on what they're up to than I can keep up with).

A quick browse through their sites shows that they are working and up to great projects all over America, so go catch them in a live show or pick up their latest DVD.

I've gotten some emails from folks wondering where they can buy copies of Beakman's World. The show, unfortunately, was never released other than a few episodes on VHS that you can buy on eBay. Someday.

The old Beakman.com site says you can email your questions to MyQuestion@beakman.com. I haven't tested it out, so let me know if things bounce back. The guy you'll be writing to is Jok Church. He created Beakman as part of a comic strip you might read called Beakman and Jax. As fair warning, he doesn't do people's homework or science fair experiments, so don't write saying that you need answers to questions #7-#12 by 8:00AM Monday morning.

And finally, the shows on air right now are all in the fabulous world of syndication reruns. No new episodes are being taped. It took an act of Congress to get back on the air after things were cancelled in 1998, so I think it's pretty awesome to see the show again, but I'm afraid, dear people in middle America that are writing me to say that they are offended by the bodily noises on the show, that means the fart jokes stay. Sorry.

Josie and LesterBeakman's World is a trademark that does not belong to me. The majority of images seen on this page were also not created by me. Many thanks to Jok Church for giving me permission to use his stuff. I am in no way affiliated with Sony or CBS or Universal Press Syndicate. No one endorses me or in no way is what I publish on this page the official view of Sony, CBS, Universal Press Syndicate, munchkins (just checking to see if you are actually reading this), or anyone else involved in the show (unless otherwise indicated), yadda yadda yadda. Please support Beakman's World, Beakman and Jax, and their sponsors. Thank you very much. This has been a service announcement of "Please don't sue me".

This page was created Oct. 29, 1997. Our first year, we had an incredible 14,046 visitors! A mere one year later and we've hit 34,327! The third year marks 57,007. September 30, 2006, almost nine years since the show was taken off the air, we've got 188,806 visitors. Ten years later, we've had over 244,000 visitors. Not bad, fellow Beakmaniacs! You are Beakmaniac # to visit! Thanks for stopping by! 1
