Tad: No. Don’t.
Dixie: (with a slight laugh) Oh please, I’m a sight.
Tad: Sure are. (gazing at her intensely) Eyes as pretty as a summer day, hair exactly like honey and a body that smiles at me every time I look at it. Yeah, I’d say you’re about the prettiest sight I’ve ever seen.
Dixie: (very moved) Oh Tad.
Tad: What? Come on.
Dixie: No…it’s just…it’s so nice. These feelings that come up from me are just so powerful.
Tad: I know exactly what you mean but being with me shouldn’t make you sad.
Dixie: It doesn’t. It doesn’t make me sad. It doesn’t.
Tad: (teasingly) Then why do you start crying every time I kiss you?
Dixie: (smiling) I don’t know. ‘Cause I’m happy. I’m happy - it’s like a miracle in my life.
Tad: You’re the miracle in my life. You’ve changed my life. Changed me.
Dixie: I love you. (They lean into a kiss, and they slowly lower themselves back down into the hay. Dixie breaks the kiss and says) Tad?
Tad: Mmhmm?
Dixie: I want to make love to you. (and then pulls him into another kiss. Things start to heat up, but then Tad pulls back)
Tad: Uh..Uh. .. Dixie…Dixie.. (pushing her gently aside and sitting up) I think it’s time to hit the trail.
Dixie: Wh.. What?
Tad: Well it’s just me but, you know, I think we should kinda cool it for awhile because in situations like this I tend to get…excited.
Dixie: (breaking into a big, rather mischievous smile) Well that’s great! (moving in to kiss him) Don’t fight it!
Tad: (pulling back) Nnno … wait a minute. Wait a minute. You told me you know we would wait. We decided that we were going to take it easy until we were married.
Dixie: (getting a kind of disappointed look on her face, like a kid who’s been told she isn’t allowed to open her present till Christmas morning) Oh.. well.. I did .. wanna wait until we were married but…(smiling softly, happily) well, you know, I really feel like we’re already married. Y’know you, me and Junior - we are a family now and Tad, I want to make love to you…right now. Come here.
She draws him into a kiss, and this time, he doesn’t pull back(he’d have to be braindead to do that! LOL) and their kisses grow more and more passionate. There’s a lot of rolling around in the hay, and then Tad breaks the kiss and asks…
Tad: You sure?
Dixie: Yes…(in between kisses) …yes.
More kissing and rolling around in the hay, but then Lanie comes bursting through the door and interrupts them. Oh well!(But that’s ok, that’s what made their honeymoon so special).
