Callisto and her bard raced across Greece in pursuit of the Destroyer of Nations. Unfortunately for Melissa it was in one of them whirlwinds the Ambrosia Gods travel in...and well you know how she is about spinning.
MM: Goddess stop.
GC: (screeches to a halt) (hey she had been covered in bard puke enough times now to know when to say when) Stay here. (continues on her way, leaving Melissa on the road side)
MM: (kinda stumbles around a bit while the world continues spinning) (thumps into something, or rather someone, wearing leather) Ares?
Xena: Well, well, well, what do we have here.
MM: You're not Ares. (pukes all over Xena)
Tho Xena was in fact not a God, time did stop or at least the bard was pretty sure it did. And with Trancer and the firemen being thousands of years from Cirra, well lets just say, Melissa wouldn't be regaining consciousness anytime soon.
Sometime later, Callisto returned to find the shattered remains of her bard. Tho she would later deny it, Callisto felt her heart falter. (Now who's going to do all the paper work?) "Broken," she mumbled as she knelt down next to Melissa, cradling the bard's head. "Get up!" she commanded. But nothing. A single tear made it's way down Callisto's cheek dropping onto the bard's face. Melissa's eyes fluttered.
MM: Water.
GC: of course it's water. Dann rain. (looking upward)
MM: no, I mean I need water.
GC: oh. (the Goddess searched frantically...again she would deny this...for a water source)
Then she heard it, the raging rapids, a water fall! What luck! Quickly and with the best intentions (we think), she hoisted her battered bard over her head and prepared to throw her body down the water fall.
MM: Goddess! No! (squirming around)
GC: Hold still you big baby.
MM: (caught Callisto in the head with her foot)
Both the Goddess and her bard tumbled off the cliff into the icy (ok Lukewarm) waters below.
