This is one of the most frightening and most "criminal" episodes of the X-Files. In it, Mulder and Scully trace back to a criminal who killed a number of young girls, and took a trophy from each of them. The trophy was a heart, made from a scrap of the clothing of the children he killed. Mulder had already worked on the case before he worked on the X-Files, and he had imprisioned the criminal, but had not found all of the bodies of the murdered girls. Then, Mulder is led to believe that his sister, Samantha was also killed by the same man.
