Hi Everyone,
If you are looking for some older stuff there have been several sellers posting in our Buy/Sell/Trade forum at
http://www3.bravenet.com/forum/show.asp?userid=hj10297 . As always when buying over the net ask for references before sending money. Most sellers have some kind-either on auction sites or their own site. Personally we are looking for older WB Mailorder catalogs. We use them to get prices and items to add to the site but I guess most people did the same thing we did with them-threw them out! What we really need is a big barn so we never have to throw anything away :) If you would just like collectors with similar interests to contact you please post in our Collectors Connection at http://www7.bravenet.com/classified/show.asp?userid=en31713 . This has worked fairly well for us. We've gotten probably 10 or 15 items from three people with our post.
Scrounging around...

Richard & Gwen

Looney News

  • I recently got two collectors books that both have a lot of Looney Tunes Items in them. The Looney Tunes Collectibles : An Unauthorized Guide is basically a picture book of about 1500 or so collectibles. Mainly from the 90's. She has prices too but they seem high to me. Cartoon Toys & Collectibles Identification and Value Guide is a better book but lists much less. Probably only 500 or so items but all are pictured. Still they are easily the best two books that I have found for the LT collector. Most other books don't even set aside a section for WB.

  • Columbia House has a Looney Tunes series on videocassette. The tapes are $19.95 each plus shipping. There are supposed to be previously unreleased shorts in this series but the price is high. To get them you will have to follow a trail. First go to their website at http://www.columbiahouse.com . Then click on Video Llibrary. Then click on the Go button(don't worry about the code). Then click on Classic TV Series. Now click on Family in the box at the top and then click on the icon to go to the second page. Voila! Maybe they have someone who does nothing but think of ways to keep people from finding things on their websites...
