PART 1

Amanda was at Cory working late, when there was a soft tap on the door.

"Come In" Amanda said without looking up

"Well, Miss Cory, working on such a beautiful evening?" said an all to famialr voice. Amanda looked up to find Cameron standing before her.

"Cameron! What on earth are you doing here?" she said in suprise

"I have a suprise for you. So it's time to pack it up for the day and follow me"

"Oh is that so? What if I'm so busy, and couldn't possibly tare myself away?"

"Well then I would have to make you forget about work" and he walked around her desk and picked her up and sat her down on the desk, and started to kiss her neck, up her jaw line, forehead, and finally her lips. They fell on top of the desk, kissing passiontely, but Amanda stopped.

"Cameron" Amanda said pulling away "What if someone walks in"

"At this hour? But your right, we should go" and he grabbed her hand and led her out of Cory. He took her to the hill where they first met. He had a cande lighted dinner, all set up for her.

"What's all this?" she said totally blown away

"Well, I wanted to do something special for you, and I thought this was it."

"Care to dance?" He asked her

"But there's no music." Amanda said

"Really? I hadn't noticed." He said smiling "I guess your right, but we could always make music together" and he pulled her in

They started to slow dance, and Cameron was so happy to have her right where he wanted. Right next to him. He closed his eyes, and just let Amanda's touch, rush into him. It felt like electricity, and he loved the way it made him feel. They broke apart.

"I'm starved! What's for supper" Amanda asked

"Well, the last time I went all out, and you said you liked just burgers and fries, so I decided to go the next step, and get cheeseburgers,fries, and 2 vanilla shakes." Cameron said whipping out a Carlinos bag, and handing Amanda her dinner.

Amanda chuckled to herself. She couldn't believe what he had

done.

"It's perfect. And I bet it's delicious too!" She said

After they finished eating, Cameron handed Amanda a neatly wrapped box.

"What's this?" She asked

"Well, it's just a token of my love for you. I know your used to all that glamour kind of stuff, and I can't really afford that kind of stuff, but when I saw this, I couldn't help but think of you."

Amanda opened the box, to find a necklace with a solid gold heart.

"It's beautiful" she said

"Wait, look on the back" he said

There was an enscription that read "To My Princess, All My Love Cam"

"Oh Cameron. I love it!" Amanda said, and he got up to help her put it on. She leaned in, and gave him a sweet kiss.

Cameron walked into "Sinclair and Sinclair, Private Investigation" office where he and Gary worked. He was holding a box, and opened it up to reveal, and thick gold band, with a large dimond in the middle, with tiny diamonds around it.

"WOAH put that thing away before I go blind" Gary said laughing as he walked in to the office.

"Do you think Amanda will like it?" Cameron asked

"Little Bro, are you saying you and Amanda are going for the big plunge?"

"Well, I saved up alot of money to buy her this"

"I'll bet. Didn't you give her a necklace just a few weeks ago?"

"Yeah, now I'm dry as a desert! But I just love her so much, and I want her to be my wife!"

"Oh man, I'm so happy for you. When are you going to ask her?"

"Tonight. Were planning on going to the Harbor Club, and I thought I'd ask her then"

"Congradualtions!" Gary said giving him a big hug "Amanda's one lucky lady!"

"No way, I'm the lucky one!" Cameron said

Cameron stopped by the Cory house to pick up Amanda for the night. He could hardly wait. He had a white oxford shirt, and a pair of Dockers on. His palms were sweating, and his heart was racing. Bad thoughts raced through his mind. "What if she says no, What if she just laughs, what if she's not ready yet" But the door opened and Amanda stood wearing a sexy black slipdress, with tiny white daisies on it. She had strapped stacked sandals, and her hair was curled and pulled back. All his bad thoughts just slipped away.

"Amanda you have to be the most beautiful women in the world" Cameron said taking Amanda in his arms. Giving her a swift kiss.

"Then you like it? I wasn't sure"

"Are you kidding? Your a totally knockout!"

"You aren't so bad yourself" she said rubbing her hands up and down his chest

"Well are you ready?"

"Yes, let's go!" She grabbed her purse and they headed out.

After dinner, they were walking through the park, and stopped to swing on the swings. Cameron pushed Amanda, and she couldn't help but laugh.

"I feel like I'm in 1st grade!" Amanda said between giggles

"Is that ok?" he said pushing her higher and higher

"YES! I haven't done this in such a long time. It feels great"

Cameron stopped pushing Amanda and walked around in front of her.

"Cameron what's wrong?" she said

"Amanda, you are the best thing that's ever happened to me. I remember a few years back, thinking I'd never fall in love or be this happy. But you changed all that. The day you walked into my life, I've never been the same. I love you more now, then I ever have."

"Cameron" Amanda said softly

"No wait a second I'm not finished." And he got down on one knee.

"Amanda I would be so honored if you would spend your life with me. Will you marry me?"

"Cameron I don't know what to say." Amanda said shocked

Amanda stared at Cameron

"Oh God, you don't want to, what was I thinking I mean, of course you'd say no. Why would you want to spend your life with me? I mean" but Amanda cut him off

"Cameron, would you shut up!" Amanda said laughing "YES!"

"Yes?" Cameron said

"I said yes, I want to be your wife!" Amanda said

"YES! You said YES!" Cameron was so happy. He picked Amanda up and twirled her around.

"You have just made me the happiest man on the face of this earth" he said, placing her back down.

"Now, would you please make it official?" Amanda said anxiously

"Oh I almost forgot" and he placed the ring on her finger, and kissed her fingers.

"So I guess this means I'll be your wife, now huh?"

"I hope that's ok"

"That's perfectly fine" and they shared in a long liplock

"What do you think of this pattern?" Amanda asked Rachel, showing her a book of wedding planners

"It's great honey, but how about this one?" She said showing Amanda another idea

Cameron walked in the room

"Oops, I have terrible timing. Girly stuff" He said laughing

"No, I think you have great timing" Amanda said jumping up and greeting Cameron with a hug

"Well I leave you two alone" Rachel said exusing herself

"Now, do you want to pick out china or curtain patters first" Amanda said happily

But she noticed Cameron turning away.

"Is something wrong? Are you ok?"

"Yeah I'm fine" said Cameron wiping a tear away from his face

"Cameron, we are going to be husband and wife, I except there is to be NO secrets. So please tell me"

The Song "You Must Have Been An Angel" started to play. (I was the lonely one inside, seemed like my prayers had been denied, I'd come to the decision to never find a love that's true. Down on my knees again, in prayer, Oh Lord please send someone to care, my best imagination could never dreamed someone like you. You must have been an angel, I can tell by the heavenly way my heart fell, oh it was spiritual a miracle, that an angel, would fall in love with me etc.)

"It's just, I've never been this happy before. My old man would always make sure Gary and I were never happy. I wanted so badly to feel like this, and now I have you. You make me so happy. I swear this must be a dream. I can't be this happy."

"Cameron, you have me, and this isn't a dream. I'm real, and I love you. Don't ever doubt that ok?"

"It's not that I doubt your love, it's just I never in my life thought this kind of happiness exsisted."

"Well it does. Believe it." And Amanda leaned in for a long kiss.

Not quite believing what she heard she walked into the foyer and yelled "ALLI!!???!"

"MOM" Alli said running into her mom's arms. Cameron stood in the living room watching the 2 embrace, and smiled. Just then a man filled the door way, making Cameron's face fall.

"Why hello Amanda" the voice said

"Sam?" Amanda said standing up

Sam walked toward Amanda and hugged her. Making Cameron's face turn stone walled, but it couldn't hide the jealousy in his eyes or all over his face.

"Sam, what on earth are you doing here?" Asked a surprised Amanda "Hi Amanda, yes I'm fine, glad to see you too, the flight was long, but ok," but Amanda cut him off

"Very funny Sam, now what are you doing here?" Amanda said irritated

"Do you acutally think I would put my little girl on a plane by herself?" he said placing his hands on Alli's shoulders

Cameron's face grows more jealous, and intense, watching Sam's every move.

"Guess what mommy? Daddy said we could stay till after you get married. Isn't that so great?" Alli said happily

"Yes, honey it is." Amanda said re-foucing her attention to ALli " Now I want you to meet someone" And she took Alli's hand and lead her to a icked off Cameron, in the living room

"Cameron, this is my daughter Alli." she said turning toward Cameron "and of course Alli this is Cameron Sinclair, my finacee"

"HI! Mr. Sinclair" Alli said reaching for Cameron's hand

Cameron's face lightened up "Mr. Mr huh?" he laughed

"Yes, what's so funny?" Said Alli confused

"Well, please just call me Cameron."

"Ok Mr. Cameron"

"NO, can the Mr. stuff" he said chuckling, extending his hand

"Ok, Hi Cameron."

"There perfect. Hello Alli." Cameron repiled "You look a lot like your mom."

Sam cut in "Come on sweetheart, I think I know what room we'll be staying in. Is our room still," but Cameron cut him off

"Woah wait a second, our?" Cameron said a bit confused

"We are going to stay in Amanda's room" Sam said happily, with a sly grin

"Wait a second here. There is no way in hell your staying in Amanda's room" Cameron said stepping in fron to him

"Yes, I am. By the way I'm Alli's father, Sam"

"No kidding! And there is still no way you are staying in Amanda's room."

"Guys stop it! Sam, you knew you would never stay in my room!" Amanda said scolding him " You and Alli can stay in the guest room" Amanda said. "I'm taking Alli upstairs, to get settled in. You 2 try and not kill each other ok?"

"Oh well I'm not gonna stick around here. It was nice metting you Alli, and Sam, is it Samuel? The pleasure couldn't me more mine!" Cameron said sacasticly

"Cameron wait a second here" Amanda said

"No I it's best if I go." and Cameron stomped off

(A few days later, and the day before A/C's wedding)

Cameron and Amanda were at the Harbor Club, with all their freinds and family for their rehearsal dinner.

It was nearly over, and Amanda and Cameron were dancing the night away.

"Oh Cameron. I couldn't be happier. Tomorrow at this time, you and I will be husband and wife."

"That's right. Mr and Mrs. Cameron Sinclair." he said smiling

"Forever" and Amanda leaned in for a kiss. Sam interrupted

"Do you mind if I cut in?"

"Yes, I do" Cameron said not backing away

"Cameron," Amanda said giving him a warning look, and he dropped her hand, and walked away. Sam and Amanda started dancing.

"What's wrong with that finacee of yours?" Sam said

"Sam." Said Amanda growing tired of the bickering

Cameron sat down next to Gary and Josie and was in a huff.

"Little bro, what's wrong?"

"Oh just that moron dancing with MY finacee!" Cameron said ticked off

"Cam, you are going to have your whole life to dance and hold Amanda. What's one dance with another guy?"

"Oh it's just with her ex husband."

"She loves YOU. Not Sam. She wants to marry you, ok? Chill"

"Your right. You are right Gary." Cameron said a bit happier, and at that moment Amanda came up behind him and whispered in his ear. Kissing his earlobe.

They walked outside, and stared at the stars.

"Well Miss Cory, are dinner is nearly over" he said wrapping his arms around her back.

"Yes, but we'll have lots more dinners, with each other, after we get married!"

"AH but this is the last rehearsal dinner we'll ever have."

"I sure hope so!" Amanda said laughing while Cameron nibbled on her

"I can't believe this is going to happen" she said

"Well believe it. I'm not going to sleep a wink tonight, I won't be able to concentrate till you start walking down the asile"

"Neither will I, but after tomorrow we'll be together forever"

"Your right." he said kissing her

"MOM! MOM!" Alli said running outside interrupting the couple

"Yes hon?" Amanda said pulling away

"Dad and I are leaving."

"Ok, I'll be home real soon." and she gave Alli a quick hug and kiss

"I love you mom"

"I love you too" and Alli ran off

"You really love her don't you?"

"Who Alli?"

"Yes."

"Of course I do. I love her more then life"

"Someday, I hope to have a few Amanda Jr's running around" Cameron said

"What about a few Cameron Jr's" Amanda said laughing

"Yeah I suppose a few would be ok"

"Ok, before we have kids, lets get married ok?" she said laughing

"Your right, beautiful. I suppose we better get going home."

"Yeah, I suppose your right" she said disappointed The 2 leaned in for a long goodnight kiss

(About an hour later)

Cameron pulled into the Cory house

"Sam and Alli aren't home yet" Amanda said worried and jumping out of the car

"Are you sure, the car isn't parked in the garage or on the street?" Cameron said

"Yes! Sam ALWAYS parks under that tree, in the driveway" Amanda said running into the house

"ALLI!!!!! SAM" Amanda screamed running into the living room

"Miss Cory, I'm so glad your home." Said Claudia running up to Amanda

"What's wrong? Where's Alli and Sam?" Amanda said more worried then ever. Cameron came up and put his arms around Amanda

"Miss Cory, I'm sorry to tell you this, but Alli and Sam were in a terrible car accident, just a little while ago. It doesn't look good"

"Whh-what did you say? What do you mean it doesn't look good?" Amanda said scared

"I'm not sure, but the hospital called, Amanda you should go" Claudia said walking away.

Amanda's face fell, and tears just wouldn't come. She was in to much of shock.

"Ca-Cameron, please take me to the hos-the hospital" Amanda said shaking, and she fell into Cameron's arms sobbing.

Cam and Amanda arrive at the hospital, and Amanda runs to the nurses desk.

"Alli Fowler, my daughter, she, she, she" but she couldn't spit it out, so Cameron came over and gently placed his hand around her waist.

"She's looking for her daughter Alli Fowler, who has been in an accident. She was brought in with her dad." Cameron said pretty calmly.

"She's in the ICU, right now, if you want you can follow me. The nurse led Amanda and Cameron into Alli's room.

"Now, she sustained multiple head, and abdoman injuries. She's very weak. Please stay only for a few mintues." and the nurse walked away. Amanda opened the door to Alli's room, and walked over to her bed. She gently picked up her hand, and placed it in hers.

"It's ok honey, mommy's here. I'm right here, and I'm not going anywhere." and Amanda sat down by her bedside. Cameron left the doorway of Alli's room, and asked the nurse about Sam.

"He's in very serious condition, in ICU 4"

"Thanks" Cameron said shocked

"Mr. Fowler, sustained a severe blow to the head. He must have been trying to protect his daughter." the nurse said, but she was interrupted by an emergency. "Sorry I gotta go" and she left Cameron alone.

Amanda came out of Alli's room, crying. "I just can't believe this. This just cannot be happening. My baby is lying in there, in so much pain, and there is nothing, NOTHING I can do to help her. All I want is to do something for her, but I can't."

Cameron walked up to Amanda, and his voice turned weak, and full of pain "Beauty, we need to talk."

"Cameron, I don't think now is the time. I need to find Sam. I need to talk to him. Do you know what room he's in?"

"That is what I wanted to talk to you about. You see Sam is, well Sam is worse off then Alli."

"Worse?"

"I'm so sorry beauty, but yeah, worse"

"Oh my God. How could it be any worse?"

"Well apperently he was trying to protect Alli, and suffered a severe blow to the head."

"Where, where, Cameron, where is he?" Amanda asked feeling suddenly overwhelmed with sadness.

"In ICU 4". And Amanda walked toward Sam's room. Cameron followed behind.

She walked in, and the only noise being made was the soft buzzing of the machines.

"Sam" Amanda said softly "Can you hear me? It's me Amanda."

And Amanda sat and stared at Sam, wishing for him to wake up.

"Sam do you remember when we met? I think it was my 18 birthday I believe. I just came back to Bay City. Do you remember? Man we didn't really get along at first now did we? Gosh, that was a long time ago! So much has happened since then. I'm sorry for all the pain, I put you through, and boy did I deal a lot of pain to you. I truely regret that. I just hope that you can wake up, and we can start over. And if not, then just do it for Alli. Alli needs us both, so don't you dare let her down. Ok?" And she kissed his forehead. Cameron was watching, and a few tears escaped down his face. Just as Amanda got up, Sam's moniters beeped, and he flatlined. Nurses came running in, as did doctors.

"What's wrong? Sam! My God is he gonna die?" Amanda said yelling

"Someone get her out of here!" yelled a doctor. Amanda was dragged from the room, and heard

"Grab the crash cart stat." The doctor barked out, as he began CPR

"CHARGE 200" and the door shut behind her. Tears rolled down her face.

"Cameron, why? Why?" Amanda asked. And Cameron put his arms around Amanda.

A nurse emerged for Sam's room. Amanda ran up to her.

"Well, is he ok? Can I go back in there?" Amanda asked

"I'm sorry miss" the nurse began, as doctors, and nurses began filing out of Sam's room. "but we were unable to save Mr. Fowler"

"Un, un, unable to save" Amanda said in total shock

"I'm sorry miss, but there was just nothing for us to do."

"Sam's dead." Amanda said, not quite able to cry.

"Amanda," Cameron began, but she cut him off by laughing.

"You guys are funny! I mean Cameron, can you believe this? Sam's not dead. He can't be. They must be kidding. Doctor humor, I suspose." Amanda said

"Amanda no. Sam's gone"

"NO! NO, I don't believe it" And she stormed into his room. The room was silent, and Sam's body lay stone cold on the bed. Amanda's face grew white, as she knew it was now all true. She began to cry, and "Fly" by Celine Dion started playing, as Amanda put her head on Sam's chest. Some flashbacks played of the 2 of them.

Cameron sat outside the room, not knowing what to do for Amanda. He stood up and bumped into a women, spilling her coffee.

"Gosh I'm sorry miss" he said not looking up, feeling stupid for not paying closer attention, but when he did look up, his face fell "what in the hell are you doing here?" he asked, in total shock.
