Some Really Good Scoops are here - tells who is shot - if it can be believed.

Excerpts from a visit to the GH set, related to V. and Jax  (I'm not sure where this was first posted

>At one point we went to the ladies room and that's where we met Robinand V. Being in a bathroom kinda brings down all the actor/fan walls 8-) I talked to Kimberly about her stint in NY, turns out she was living in my friends building crosstown from me. Small world! My first question to Lisa was had she seen the V posts from Ratsa as her character was very popular with the group. The answer was yes she has a friend who printed it all out for her and passed it on. Now if the talk on the group had been more like the stuff we see on Brenda I wouldn't have mentioned it. But I felt safe as we all love V, don't we? This is also where I started to notice that ALL the actresses were perched high atop the highest heels ever. It was afternoon and the rest of the day they were filming the engagement party for Felicia and Mac at the outback.

>Some of the crew told us to go get some of the cake which had been set up for consumption by the coffee machine. That's when we got to hang with Lisa (v) who had a few stories of her own (and ate cake). I told her that I thought she was the only girl for Jax and I wished he get a clue. She said there was still hope he would realize this. YEAH, hope is good. Vicki was going to go to Vegas on the weekend and Lisa agreed Vegas is happening. Not my cup of tea though. At one point Lisa noted the strange name her character had. She said something like you ever heard a wierder name. I said yes Jasper Jacks, LOL! I took a digital of Lisa and promised not to post it if it wasn't perfect. I like it but not sure she will so I have to wait till I can send it and get the ok to post it. I promised. I always keep my promises.

On GH, MARK SCHNEIDER portrays Mitch Wright, a character conspiring with Tess (Jane A. Rogers) in the assassination plot against Jax (Ingo Rademacher). Schneider plays the recurring role of Wade on Babylon 5. He also appeared in Ghostbusters II and Son of The Pink Panther

General Hospital has finally cast the long anticipated character of Jerry Jacks, Jax's (Ingo Rademacher) infamous brother. JULIAN STONE nabbed the part. His credits include Models, Inc. (Josh Lange), News Radio, Mad About You, Liz: The Elizabeth Taylor Story, Lois and Clark, and Babylon 5 (Capt. Mitchell). Stone also wrote, directed and produced the film, Follow The Bitch, which won several film festival awards in the U.S. The English-bred Stone has an extensive theater background. Jerry comes to Port Chuckles on Friday, April 10. A daytime newcomer, Stone won the role admidst tough competition. Dan McVicar (Clark, B&B) and Lane Davies (ex-Mason, Santa Barbara) were just two of the names suggested for the role. Expect more of Jax's family members to arrive soon.         Click here for a temporary Jerry Jax Homepage

MAURICE BENARD will reprise his role as Sonny in what is described as a "limited run." He'll return in May. Soap Opera Digest (3-31-98) warns the S&Believers not to get their hopes up that Sonny and Brenda will reunite.

3/26/98 Gunshots punctuates the big celebration for the Docks Renovation - but Mitch's bullet misses Jax and finds it's mark in a suprising female character.

Jerry Jacks finally makes into onto Port Charles' canvas....but preconceived notions may just tumble in the face of reality.

Tuesday  March 31  One of the Conspirators for Jax's Murder Plot is revealed.

Friday April 3 The Assassin Mitch makes his move at the Docks Renovation Party - and someone is shot!

Friday April 9 John and Jane Jacks make an appearance

Friday April 10  This could be the day Jerry Jacks finally materializes.

The Assassination Plot runs much deeper than anyone can imagine.

•Felicia and V., in the investigation of Tess' plot, miscalculates about the time-line in which they think it will all take place. •Later, Tess realizes what Felicia and V. have been up to and finds out the truth about James.

While they're investigating Tess, Felicia and V. discover that Mitch,  Jax's new business partner, is in cahoots with Tess. But they make a  serious mistake with the timeline of when they think Tess' plans are  going to take place. They believe it's not going to happen for 3 weeks.

When there's a gala on the docks to celebrate the renovation there, V's instincts tell her that something is surely up. Lisa Cerasoli (V.) says, "Because of what is going on with Mac and Felicia, things look strange to V. She's putting together the fact that Tess wants them to have a night out on the town, not at the docks, and that she's splurging for it. It occurs to V. that a crowded place would be the perfect place for them to take action against Jax. All famous assassinations have taken place in crowds. She suddenly feels that, even though she was given contrary information, it's going to happen at the docks."

V. tries to warn Jax about possible trouble coming up, but he brushes her aside. Meanwhile, Brenda admits to Jax that she loves him, and he continues to deny his feelings.

V. doesn't want to upset Jax too much, because she knows that the celebration is a big night for him.

On the night of the big gala on the docks, Tess gives Mac and Felicia a special gift. But later she learns that Mac has been posing as James, and then Tess decides that Felicia will have to be eliminated too.

Jason, Jax and Brenda take the stage and Felicia and Mac get trapped in the crowd. When Jax takes pen in hand to sign the papers, a gun shot, aimed at him, rings out.

The assassination plot against Jax will reach an exciting climax this spring with someone taking a bullet! Mac and Felicia unwillingly edge closer to the alter -- unable to break the news of the faux engagement to their friends and family. But who is behind the plot to set up Mac and take out Jax? "The scenes of the people behind the assassination

have already been laid and have been playing for weeks," teases the writer.

Question Asked of Guza

First I want to say that I've really been enjoying the show for the past three weeks. My question has to do with the character of V (Venus). Do you have any plans to develop this character and give her a story? She was one of the very few things that I actually liked and enjoyed about the show this last year. I was not an immediate fan of this character, but she had won me over within the month. — FanOfV

Absolutely. I love V. She had a movie back before Christmas, and so we had to write her out for a period of time. That happens frequently, particularly with actors on this show because they are so talented and there's so much demand for them. They'll go out and do a TV movie or something like that, and we have to write them out. So what happened with V essentially was that she went off and did something else. But she's back now with a vengeance, and we are definitely planning to use her. I love her relationships, not only with Jax. I love her with Felicia and Mac. I just think she provides a really interesting color on the canvas, and we absolutely have very big plans for her.

GH is finally looking to cast the character of Jerry Jax!

Finally a quote from Guza I like! (From SID)

"If Guza really wanted to test the mettle of Jax and Brenda, he'd throw V. into the equation,

he says. 'If we played the V card, that would be a huge threat. But Ashley serves a whole different function.' "

We can all say we knew her when she wasn't famous (Holly, that is)

A fan named Holly managed to really impress Lisa Cerasoli. The actress was thrilled when she viewed a videotape that arrived with her fan mail. "It's the most amazing tape," she says. "She sent me a compliation of all my scenes since I came on the show-all the V and Jax scenes, set to Bananarama song Venus. You know, 'She's got it. Baby, she's got it.' The scenes all match up with beats in the song. Like the first time the refrain comes

on, I'm spinning in the Nurses Ball gown. It ends with Jax catching me in his arms in Malibu with the champagne glasses. "I made six copies of the tape," Cerasoli eagerly adds. "My best friend has one, my parents have one and my manager has three. Its the coolest thing I've ever seen. It's cute and completely comedic. Like Jax tripping me on the island, me making the fort fall apart, me locking us in the storage room. "I'd like to thank Holly for all that hard work," she says, "Her tape is the most precious thing."

Meanwhile, Felicia grows suspicious of "Mac's," behavior, especially when Robin asks him for advice and he sidesteps her. Felicia knows Mac would always be there for Robin. Felicia enlists V's help in getting a sample of Mac's fingerprints. When the test results come back and Felicia learns the prints are not Mac's, she accepts James' marriage proposal, just so she can further her investigation. Meanwhile, Mac finally escapes from Tess -- and comes face to face with James again.

Brenda is sent into a tailspin when her agenda to play Ponytail Footsies with Jax is interrupted by the arrival of Ashley - who kicks her out of her seat so hard we're surprised a few modelling pictures don't slip out from under her shirt.

At Jax's party - Brenda once again discovers her intentions of being the sole entry in on Jax's Dance Card gets supplanted by Ashley - who takes her own share of the spotlight. Ashley, who happens to not only be Jerry's ex-galpal but also a model in her own right, has yet another Jack's intrigued by her charms. But all might not be as it appears with her. Jax is no longer buying all the box seat tickets for Brendafest International.

Little Birdies are Telling Us: that Jax will be the target for Tess's evil plans - and after Mac sets up James, they discover that her nefarious scheme is to ultimately kill the hunky billionaire. This plot weaves Jax, James, Tess, Mac, Felicia, and V in a grand scale. Some have whispered that Ashley might also have her finger in the pie - but as friend or foe we do not yet know. Did Ashley purposefuly ditch Jerry to bring Jax to her side and give her a clear way to enter his orbit in Port Charles? Was her intent to cause trouble between the brothers so that Jerry would not be a factor in Jax's rescue? We'll have to wait and see. Remember this is just a rumor.

V. returns to GH this week, and will divide her attentions between Jax and----surprise, surprise----Mac! Lisa Cerasoli,  who has V. has been off canvas for much of the last three months admits that her alter ego has some unfinished business with Jax. "He won't be able to resist me when I get back to Port Charles," jokes the actress, who returns on Friday, January 30th. "I'll annoy the man until he falls in love with me. I've done it before, I can do it again." But headwriter Bob  Guza explains that he has different plans for V. at the moment. She's going to be heavily involved in the Mac and Felicia story," says Guza. "I'm going to get her back into detective mode. I don't see her folding into the Jax/Brenda  love story in any huge way."

According to Soap Opera In Depth, Guza is going to have V go back to her  roots in detective work and help Felicia with the Mac stuff. Guza said V will divide her attention between Jax and Mac. He also said he didn't see V  folding into the Jax/Brenda love story in any huge way.

The following is from the TV Vue insert in the NY Daily News:

JAX-POT

Lately, "General Hospital" fans have been enjoying many more scenes of Jax than usual. "I'm on a lot, but it's Vanessa's storyline," Ingo Rademacher says, referring to co-star Vanessa Marcil, who plays troubled Brenda. "I'm just breaking down doors and having confrontations with people like Jason."

Even if the story does revolve around Brenda, it's giving Rademacher the chance to work with more of the good folks of Port Charles. "He's doing a lot more business," Rademacher agrees, "and digging around. I'm working with Ned, Edward, Justus, Jason. Jason keeps promising that he's going to keep away and not expose Brenda to all of the [mob] stuff that Sonny, exposed her to, but he hasn't."He just keeps coming around all the time and now she has had that breakdown. So he blames Jason, of course."

As opposed to blaming Brenda, who refused to deal with her feelings about being left at the altar by Jax' rival, Sonny? "Why would Jax do that?" postures the good-natured Rademacher. "There's no story in that."

Lisa Cerasoli will appear on Diagnosis Murder on February 5th, and GH on Jan 30th

We are planning a little chat party the evening after V's first show, Fri. the 30th. Details will be posted later.

According to Soap Opera Update, V. helps Felicia out next month. "With V.'s help, Felicia starts to look into what's going on with Mac, but she's going to have to give him a answer to his proposal soon."

<< >Today on NWA, Cindi said: >Jax is going to go in search of his elusive brother, Jerry. Jerry is not >going to return to Port Charles with him. >"But his brother is going to send a certain female type back to tail Jax >back to town. Will this new lil lady make Jax's heart pump? Stay tuned, I'll >give you the details about the role she will play in Jax's life next week" >> We know know, this is not V. I think I have more info in another spoiler.

V. returns to the show on Jan 30 - this is from an email from Lisa Cerasoli's best friend. Her friend thinks that she is going to be in a really cool story - sorry no scoops about what.

ARE THINGS GETTING SERIOUS? The latest rumor flying across the Internet airwaves is that heartthrob Ingo Rademacher (Jax) and long-time girlfriend Rebecca Herbst (Liz) are actually flying to Germany as a way of introducing Rebecca to Ingo's family in the form of "the future Mrs. Rademacher."

Ingo Rademacher Jax, GH on his character: "I want to see more of the original Jax - the sophisticated businessman."

Source: SOM

Where has V gone? She was there for Jax when he retreated to Malibu in anticipation of Brenda's marriage to Sonny, and she even began what appeared to be a promising friendship with Brenda. But suddenly, she's disappeared without an explanation.

According to recently returned head writer Bob Guza, the availability of the actress Lisa Cerasoli (V), who's not on contract, was in question due to a pending film role. Cerasoli's management confirms that she'll be working on a film, although it has been postponed until the spring. They add the actress' first priority is GH and that Cerasoli loves playing V. They also say they're hopeful Cerasoli's absence is only temporary while Guza gets reacclimated to GH. "You have no idea how much I miss being on the show," Cerasoli says. "I really love the role and all the people at General Hospital."

"Castmate Lisa Cerasoli (V) says she loves working with Rademacher. 'It's just like working with your best girlfriend, except he's a whole lot better looking,' she says, grinning. 'He makes you laugh constantly -- you can say anything you want to him, and he always makes you feel so at home. Ingo and I have really good chemistry on-screen. I don't think I ever knew his character was witty, but V brings that out of him. Even in a dull situation, we have a good time."

SOM - best and worst of 1997 issue 12/30/97 (for GH)

--Best Newcomer

Lisa Cerasoli as V. Ardanowski. Port Charles' spunkiest former-woman-in-blue is a delight to watch as she obsessively, compulsively flowers into one of the freshest female characters on daytime. We've enjoyed watching her and Jax develop their less-than-convential friendship, and do we dare to hope it develops into... something more?

--Biggest Waste of Talent

Ingo Rademacher (Jax) due to lack of storyline! Give this man something else to do besides play Brenda's picking-up-the-pieces patsy.

Vanessa Marcil (Brenda) may be leaving GH in Midwinter if her new ABC Pilot is picked up

12/97 This is the Best News I've heard all month!

My fellow Visionaries,

I just got a letter from Lisa Cerasoli's friend. Let us rejoice!!!

Holly,

Sorry it took so long to get back to you, but I have been really busy with work.

I know there are alot of questions about where Lisa (V) is right now on GH. Well, take heart in the fact she will be on tomorrow's episode. It isn't much, but its something. There has been some confusion about Lisa filming a movie. She was up for a role, but it ended up going to another actress. She has been doing alot of auditioning. In fact, she will be filming an episode of Diagnosis Murder in January. She is still with General Hospital and will start filming more again in January.

I want you to pass along our thanks to all of Lisa's fans. She will be on again, and I am sure it certainly helped that she has such a vocal fan base. All of you are so great. Lisa tells me about some of her fan letters, and it is very funny that I can recognize some of the names because I sometimes check out the GH message boards. She said she got a great letter from a girl that is the President or Founder of one of her fan groups and that she writes alot of fan fiction about Jax and V. I was able to say "Is it Tracy with an ee (Tracee)?" Some of you, Lisa says, she has received several letters from already. Anyway, all of you are so great and I think your letters and email have really made a difference in keeping the character of V on the story boards.

Thanks for writing Holly. I'll be happy to talk with you when I can. Thanks again and tell everyone to keep writing. It has made all the difference!

I'm gonna post this on the Bulletin Board, too!

TVGOer presents the speaker with question #259 from NillyBE: What do you want for Christmas Logan? (In soapland that is...) TVG_Logan says, "Well for starters a storyline for Lisa Cerasoli. Apparently, she did get cast in some sort of feature film, but it is being financed by a french company which decided they wanted a french actress...." TVG_Logan says, "So now Lisa isn't doing it after all." TVG_Logan says, "Now that that schedule conflict is out of the way, what are we waiting for Mr. Guza, Sir?"

12/3/97: This is part of a mail message that was sent to a member of the mailing list that I'm on. I think this is great news.

I freaked out when I went through my mail today and found this...

Holly,

I am Lisa Cerasoli's best friend and I was just out in LA visiting her over the Thanksgiving holiday. She showed me the video you sent her of her scenes set to the song by Bananarama. I have to tell you, it was really great. It was one of the first things she showed me when I got out there last week. We watched it several times, and even watched your wedding footage and your skit about why you should be on GH.

Anyway, Lisa does plan on sending you a letter as soon as she has some time. But, in the mean time, I thought I would send you a message letting you know that she has it and LOVES IT! I would expect that you will hear from her yourself within the next few weeks. Unfortunately, Lisa does not have a computer, so I thought I would just send a little note to you for her.

I was able to see your name in some email messages in support of Lisa and V, so I was able to get your address (at least I hope this is it). I am going off the coincidence that both of your names are Holly Gray.

There are so many great fans out there for Lisa and V. She appreciates everything that all of you are doing. All of your letters and support is probably what has kept her on the show. I don't think that anyone at GH expected her character to catch on the way it did, and because of that, I think they are just trying to figure out what to do with her now. She loves being on General Hospital, and she hopes that she will continue to be on for a long time to come. Although I am not a partial opinion, I also think that Venus Ardanowski is one of the most genuine and entertaining new character to come along in quite some time.

I did want to just send you our thanks for everything you do in support of Lisa. Although I am happy to talk to you whenever you want, I would prefer that you not share my email address with all of the others on the internet. I just don't want to get into a situation where I am being questioned a lot about Lisa. My main purpose was just to say "hi" and "thanks". Believe me, Lisa is very aware of everyone's support in the VGA, VAGA, and J&Visionaries.

Thanks again Holly and good luck-

Well! Thanks to Lisa's best friend (who shall remain anonymous as promised) I am happy to report that the show does intend to use Lisa. So let us be patient. I've asked her to stay in touch so that I may bring any and all Venus info to the masses.

HollyGray Keeper of V's inferiority complex!

VFan: Logan, could you please clarify a comment you made last week? Do you think Guza was handing a load of hogwash about V/Lisa Cerasoli, or not? It wasn't clear. Thanks.

Logan: It wasn't clear last week because it's not clear to me. I always have found Guza to be a very honest chap. Perhaps someone handed him a load of bull, but I do not think he was handing me one. In fact, I'm sure he was not. He knows better. And just because the GH press rep didn't know anything about Lisa's supposed movie when I called doesn't necessarily mean there ain't one. To be frank, I forgot to look further into this since we last chatted. I'll see what I can find out and get back to you next week.

11/25/97 Logan, in his chat gives us a clue as to where V. is here. In case you don't know what the previous comment was, here it is:

Question: What is Guza planning to do with V? Are we ever going to see her again?

Logan: I spoke with him about that and I have no good news to share. He tells me he thinks she's "wonderful" and that he "loves her," but has been asked not to write for her at the moment -- presumably by you-know-who -- because she has some sort of movie deal that has to be worked out schedule-wise. I called the GH publicist, who knew nothing about this movie, however, so go figure.

11/21/97 - Unfortunately, I see no sign of V in any of the spoilers.

Vote in the Soaps in Depth Poll for this issue (11/11/97)! Which woman do you want to see with Jax - Brenda or V.
write to: Reader's Poll, c/o Soaps in Depth, 270 Sylvan Avenue, Englewood Cliffs, N.J. 07632 New Face Of 1997

We knew this woman as just plain V for months, but now we know her name is Venus. And just as her name is unusual, there isn't another character on daytime quite like her. She's feisty, but shy; smart but clumsy - and she has a big secret crush on Mr. Jacks. When he was suspected of being a drug smuggler, the rookie deputy didn't leave Jax's side for months, growing on us and him. But we knew Venus was a favorite when she and Jax were trying to find Sonny and Brenda in Florida. To get cozy with a bartender who had some information, V told the guy they just wanted to "score some weed". When budget cuts cost Venus her job, Jax was quick to get her a position waiting tables at the Outback. That gig lasted a day, and we got more of a taste of what this character is all about when she told customers that they really weren't ordering the healthiest of food. She soon campaigned for the job of Jax's new executive assistant and is growing closer to the young mogul every day. But, you know what really endears Venus to us? Her winning smile, which is as genuine as can be. It can light up a room, and doesn't shine any brighter than when Jax is around. We hope we - and Jax - see more of V, despite the fact that he's been spending the bulk of his time with Brenda. <Source: SONews, 11/18/97>

Ingo Rademacher has been keeping busy- not just working on GH and shooting the pilot for Veronica's Closet and posing for magazine spreads-- He's also trying to move his parents to a new home in the mountains outside of LA. "My parents are moving to America," he says. "We decided on it about a month ago. They've lived 15 years in Australia, and they went back to Germany last year for a year. They wanted to settle down there, " recalls Rademacher. "Then my sister came here at the start of the year to study and now mum and dad want to come here as well. My cousins were here from Germany for just over three weeks, and we went and looked at real estate for my parents." <Source: SONews, 11/18/97>

1997 V. hoping to make an arrest, came upon Jax as he traveled his long and lonely road. Her quirky sense of duty might have made his heart do a double take, but the seat of his passion continued to ride with Brenda. Even after V. stepped out of uniform and into J. and J. Jacks of Alaska, the good trooper couldn't quite encourage Jax's emotions to wing her way. When Sonny left Brenda at the altar, Jax was the first to arrive at the post-non-nuptuals. His attempting to mend Brenda's crushed feelings did nothing to undent V.'s own emotions, carefully kept below her - and his - level of recognition. But hey, this triangle is still young, and to our minds, still growing. Who knows, Brenda and V. have all the makings of becoming great friends. And Jax... well, we know he'll always figure in as one of the sides as Brenda's triangle.

Going for it:
Some fledgling actors find it difficult to decide when they're ready to start auditioning for professional roles. But Lisa Cerasoli (V.) says sometimes you've just gotta go for it. When the now-exxperienced actress was first starting out, newly minted theater-arts degree in hand, she admits that she felt the same hesitation most new actors experience, thinking, "I'll save a little more money. I'll take a little more time. Maybe I"ll do another play or two," she says. But she admits now, "It's just silly when you start to think like that. You can't keep going, 'I'm not perfect yet.' Does any actor ever think he's perfect? The actress has a philosophy about getting out there and auditioning. Do the best you can and learn from your mistakes. "Not being ready is one of the keys to learning how to be ready." relates Cerasoli. In fact, she says, because of her own early - and not always successful - learning experiences, "By the time I moved to Los Angeles, I was ready to be serious."

Letter to Soaps in Depth:
In only a few short months, V. Ardanowski has become my favorite female character on GH. Venus is spunky, funny, idealistic, quirky and innocent. She's definitely not your typical soap heroine. GH has a real find in Lisa Cerasoli, who has clicked with Ingo Rademacher. I love the way Jax and V. play of fone another. They have fantastic chemistry. These two could easily become GH's hottest duo.
A. Downs, Washington D.C.

Memorable Moments:

(While in Malibu, V. tries to distract Jax from Brenda's wedding day)
V: What are you doing?
Jax: Unplugging the TV
V: Oh, I regard electrical appliances as hostile to mankind. I think that they create some kind of electromagnetic field that actually interferes with our thought waves. Well, mind you, I'm not talking about microwave ovens. A dog might be man's best friend, but a microwave's definately a woman's.
Jax: Oh, goodie! The Ardanowski Philosophy Hour
V: Well, have you ever thought that people in less developed countries that don't live under the shadow of power lines have far fewer cavities than we do?
Jax: Yeah, but they don't eat cheesecake, either.

(Mac and Jax discuss V.'s new position with his company, J. and J. Jacks)

Mac: Things are working out?
Jax: Yeah, actually. She came up with a brilliant idea this morning
Mac: She's going to fingerprint all your employees and have them sign Miranda warnings in advance - no pun intended.

November Sweeps For General Hospital

Head writer Bob Guza is back at the helm of GH, and we will see the beginnings of his new stories during November sweeps. It may seen like a case of out with the new/in with the familiar, as Guza takes us back a year to the stories that captured our attention and allegiance. Without Sonny, Brenda will begin to rely more and more on Jax. It was Guza who originally paired this dynamic couple together, so expect sparks to fly once again as Jax continues to play a large role in her healing. Newcomer V. does figure into the mix, but it will be a surprise to see who becomes the third wheel in this triangle.
