LINKS TO FIESTA SITES

|| Fiesta Collection || Links ||

There are a lot of sites with Fiesta and other collectible dinnerware information but there are some that stand out as original and unique. The special sites listed below are a great starting point for the best Fiesta information.

NEWSLETTERS/MAGAZINES/BOOKS

An absolute must-have for any Fiesta collector is the Fiesta Collector's Quarterly. There is also a special page of exclusive products for Fiesta Collectors.

Another great newsletter/magazine is The Dish, a publication for members of the Homer Laughlin China Collectors Association. It features articles on all types of HLC dinnerware, not just Fiesta, which is great for me because I collect Harlequin, Jubilee, Riviera and a few other HLC pieces. The first edition came out in September, 1998, and it has become a big hit among Fiesta and HLC collectors. It's easy to join and then subscribe, just pop onto the site, all the information is there.

ATTENTION ALL FIESTA FANATICS: You must see/buy the new book written by Fiesta collectors and the people at The Dish. It's the best book I've seen on Fiesta, Kitchen Kraft and Harlequin (all my favorites). You'll be astounded by the quality of this book, the great information and the gorgeous pictures. Get your copy today!

OTHER CREATIVE FIESTA SITES

Don't miss the virtual tour of the HLC plant, designed by Steve Beals, an avid Fiesta collector. Follow his teapot thru the plant and enjoy the tour. A must see for any Fiesta collector! After the tour, don't forget to visit Steve's Fiesta resource page. It's the most comprehensive list of links I've ever seen.

Candy, a very creative fiesta fanatic, has a wonderful webpage that is unique and one you shouldn't miss. She is constantly updating and improving her pages so bookmark them and visit often. She also features pictures of the Art Department at HLC, so if you want to be "in the know" about the newest Fiesta, this is the place to visit.

eckware.com is the place to go to find software for the Fiesta collector. You can try it free, then register and buy it if you like it. There is a lot of other information on this site such as new books that are available and links to other Fiesta sites.

MISCELLANEOUS LINKS

Since gremlins kept erasing my bookmarks, I decided to keep some of my links here so I'd always have them, won't have to depend on my browser. And it will benefit all my Fiesta friends too! If you've already been to all the sites above and still want more, here they are:

Some good bargains can be found on the Circa '36 site
Fiesta, Kitchen Kraft, Harlequin and Riviera

More bargains (this time on new Fiesta) at the Fiesta on the Web site

The Robbins Nest is a great place to find all kinds of dinnerware,
especially HLC brands

Gail's Fiestaware Links plus her Fiesta for sale

Fiestaware site with new Fiesta for sale

The following are links that appeared in my article in the Fiesta Collector's Quarterly Summer 1998 issue (now all the subscribers won't have to type in these long, long names). Some have changed since the article came out, remember the Internet is a dynamic place, but I've tried to keep up with the changes and they are reflected in the list below:

Great pictures of all the greens

Why Tom and Jerry mugs got their name and a recipe for the drink

Local History of HLC wares (site run by the Carnegie Public Library in East Liverpool)

"Fiesta Ware at Auction" article by Don Johnson highlights the Strawser Auction

A technical page with shows how the carts that carry the dinnerware thru the plant are scheduled

Take a look at Hall China.

A passion for dishes often leads to other collecting so here are links to depression glass pages

NOTE: For those of you who have the Quarterly, you'll notice
some of the sites are no longer listed. They've disappeared!
If I find them under another address I'll add them back into the list.
I'll also keep looking for more links to add.

If you collect all kinds of HLC dinnerware, click here for the links that I referenced in an article I wrote for The Dish, Vol. 1, No. 3. Go to the HLCCA area of the mediumgreen pages and click on the magazine cover of the issues shown there for the table of contents of each issue of The Dish.

Please email me if any of these links become outdated
or if you have a link I should add.
