Alaska Page

In 1996 I volunteered to be a Camp Ground Host, in Alaska at Lake Harding State Park. Lake Harding is located about 40 miles South of Fairbanks.

I kept a journal of my trip, observations, and feelings so I could share my trip with my family and friends. While trying to edit it again for this I realized that I should have studied a lot more in English when I was in school... :)) But then again, this is not a essay I was graded on. It is just a bunch of letters to my family and friends that I wrote along the way.

In reading it the memories come flooding back and I can enjoy the trip again.... I met some wonderful people and if any of them see this perhaps they will get in touch with me and we can reminisce about the trip...

I drove a 1996 Dodge V10 pickup and pulled a 28' Starcraft fifth wheel. The trailer weighed about 7500 lbs.
