Well, I guess a few words of introduction wouldn't hurt much. Like most of the homepages I've seen, this one is just to stroke my own ego. I do hope to give you a link or two that you might enjoy, and maybe, if we're both lucky you might find a new link that you haven't seen before.

Here's what a retired type looks like.

Then again there are some folks, most notably my best friend, computer guru, and the world's only other "River Water Conch" that think I look like this!

In case you haven't figured it out, my big desire during this retirement thingee is to get into the air as much as possible. A while back, Shawn and I went to (formerly) Ellington International Airport to do some shopping. We looked at a couple of things.

Here I am, looking over an old Ercoupe. Shawn wanted this one really bad!

Richard Ellington (who started the idea of aircraft salvage) and I are discussing the price of this little Cessna 150.

You can get to my favorite vacation place two ways, well, actually three, but I've only used two. You can drive down US 1 like this

'

Which is a somewhat long, but beautiful (after you leave the mainland) drive.

Or you can fly down, seeing sights like this

Passing Dan Hagerty's private airport at MM20

And finally entering the traffic pattern at EYW, also known as

Key West International Airport

How about a virtural tour of my favorite spot on the globe
