Your last stage you will start from Slusegard, with very interesting excavations from the Bronze Age. The place is known for a stone lying exactly on the crossing of the 55th meridian and the 15th parallel. Going farther north you will enter the oldest town on Bornholm and former capital - Aakirkeby. Things to see there are the Aakirke church - a very precious 12th-century monument with a double tower and Romanesque font, the market square with picturesque craftsworkers' houses, Rosenkranskirke - the second Catholic church on the island and the Museum of Automobiles.
The next town of your route is Nylars where you should see Nylarskirke - the best preserved church among all round churches on Bornholm. On the way to Klemensker you will enter the south part of Almindingen forest, where you should visit Gamleborg (not the one mentioned above) and Lilleborg - ruins of two medieval cities, Rytterknaegten - the highest point of the island, scenic Ekkodalen (Echo Valley) - the longest rift valley on Bornholm which is 50 metres across in its widest part. You can also enjoy a meal in the beautifully situated Christianshoj restaurant.
Doing sightseeing in Klemensker you cannot omit the first inn on the island built in 1850 and Klemens Kro - one of the highest churches on Bornholm. The last point of your tour around Bornholm is Nyker with Nykirke - the smallest of the round churches and an impressive, three-storey bell tower located in the churchyard.
