Some people understand ecology merely as the preservation of animals and plants. When one species disappears, many others are affected, unbalancing the delicate equilibrium of Nature. Ecology however does not only regard living things, but also water, soil, air. It's a very intricate relationship we have to learn to deal with, in order to protect our own species.

Internet is a wide source of information relating to Ecology, so I invite you to follow my steps and read about some ecological non-governmental organizations and governmental organizations. Check also a selection of current campaigns and special issues plus other information resources on ecology.

And as there is no hope for the environment if we don't take care of people in need, we cannot forget the social organizations and campaigns.
