------------Being a veteran Darkroom member it comes as a surprise that this is Crooked’s first cd through all the years. You can tell Crooked is an integral part of the sound that has shaped Darkroom over the years. And with this release Crooked does what he does best, talking about getting violent.
___Right from the start you know this cd is going to be full of violence and anger. “Ifuckinghateyoutodeathyousonofabitch” is a perfect opening to this cd (and also thebest). From there you are hit with nothing but brutal after brutal track dealing with haters, taking care of bootleggers, or just making some money and representing. During this path of destruction, Crooked shows he is one of the best rappers Darkroom has to offer and isn't afraid of saying it either.
___With only 12 songs there is only so much there is to hear. And only half of them are solos. Not to say that the other Darkroom members aren't tight, but Crooked seems to fair off better when he is by himself. But either way you go you are going to hear that trademark Darkroom sound. Crooked proves that he has the skills to handle himself on a full cd. It almost makes you wish Crooked would work by himself more but then Darkroom wouldn't be what it is... In fact, this is the best cd to come from the Darkroom Familia. Check it out.
