Esham - "Maggot Brain Theory"

------------This is an ep that was released before Closed Casket. This is Esham's forth and final ep. Like all his other ep's this is short, containing only 5 tracks in all. But if you are a fan of Esham you should enjoy all of them.
___The cd starts of with an intro called "Comin Out A Coma". It was an ok intro that drags on. Does there really need to be an intro for a 5 song ep? Next up is "Maggot Brain Theory" which is also featured on the Detriot Dogshit cd. Its has a beat that reminded me of the circus, I don't know why, and the lyrics were typical Esham. Good track, but nothing great. Then comes "Traces Of My Bloodtype" which is pretty much Esham talking about how his blood was found at all different crime scenes. Its not really a song but its another good piece of work. "Stop Diggin On Da D-L" should be familiar to any Esham fan since it is also featured on Closed Casket. This is not a typical Esham song as it seems it was made more for the radio with a soft beat and lyrics about girls. I actually enjoyed this track even though I had heard it before, it wasn't until I listened to it on this ep that I realized it is a really good track even though it's a softer track. The final and best song of the cd is "I Know You Hate Me" which is Esham at his best. With a good beat and some nice lyrics this is your usual acid rap track. And who wouldn't like the chrous "I know you hate me bitch"?
___Overall this is a good ep. Any Esham fan should enjoy it even if they might have a few tracks from it. Its not his best work but its solid all the way through. Its worth the 10 dollars or so you may have to pay for it. So if you see it and you like Esham then pick it up.
