------------The wicketshit is back in this, the latest (1999) cd from Esham. "Mail Dominance" is some nasty shit. It is a well blended mix of what you would expect from RLP and as always with Esham, there are some new sounds. It starts off strong with "We Cumin for U". Songs 2 through 8 are also tight with the classic sound of Esham and some members of Natas. The track "I'm Lovin It" has got some good lyrics and a nice beat. All of a sudden, on songs 10 and 11, the mood changes. "Whoa" and "Obiest" have some sort of 1950's songs interpolated in the background. Any other rapper attempting to do this would sound idiotic, but Esham makes it work because the lyrics remain tight. As a result, these turn out to be two of my personal favorite songs. Also, on track 12, "Twrik Yo Body", the beats are almost like that of a dance song. The rest of the songs are normal, with the exception of 17, "Lightyearsaway", which also has a 1950's interpolation in the background. "Ozonelayer" is an awesome track, as is "Outche Atmosphere". The lyrics are tight, the beats are hot, and the concept is solid.
___With a mix of the new, the old, and the experimental, "Mail Dominance" is a cd which is very popular and with good cause. It is one of Esham's fastest sellers and should be available at most music stores. It may not be as hard as some of the others, but this is one Esham cd that can not be passed on.
