Sicx - "If These Walls Could Talk"

------------This is another cd that is coming straight out of Sacramento and has that Sac sound to it. Sicx is putting it down for Siccmade Muzicc. Sicx has made appearances on other cd's, most notably Brotha Lynch Hung's "Season Of Da Siccness." The first time I heard Sicx he reminded me of Brotha Lynch Hung because they both have that same type of flow.Their voices aren't the same but their styles are. Sicx's flow is like Brotha Lynch Hung on "Season Of Da Siccness". This cd is that gangsta shit with some of that sickness that is associated with Sac rap.
___The beats on this cd are definitely different. They are eerie, sort of like something out of a horror movie. If you haven't heard anything from Siccmade Muzicc then you might be surprised at the beats because they are so different than most anything else. The beats set the mood for the cd and complement Sicx's style of rapping. The cd doesn't really start off until track 4 since the first 3 tracks are either skits or just a short song with no rapping. But after track 4 its all rap with the exception of track 13 which is a skit. And none of the songs on this cd are weak. They are all tight. There isn't one song that is worth skipping on this cd. Sicx definitely holds his own on this one. His lyrics are on point and his flow is nice. He comes correct on every track. The only disappointing thing about this cd is that on track 10, "Tremendous", Brotha Lynch Hung's verse isn't so great considering his past work. Its not that he is bad but its just he could have come across better. Other than that there are no complaints about this cd. It's a good overall cd and is consistent all the way through. It looks like Siccmade Muzicc has a bright future ahead of them if they can continue releasing cds like this. I recommend this to anyone who likes Sacramento Rap or Brotha Lynch Hung or anyone who likes gangsta rap in general. This is one of the best cds of 1999 and shouldn't be overlooked. Pick it up if you see it.
