------------Dre Dog is a rapper out of Frisco, California. This is his first cd, but I know he has a few more out. It was released in 1993 and has a old school vibe to it. Unfortunately there is only 11 tracks, with 3 not even being songs. That leaves only 8 songs which is not very good considering this is supposed to be a full length cd. Also the cd is not even 40 minutes.
___Dre Dog style is very different. I can’t really compare him to anyone. He talks about drugs a lot, I haven’t heard many cds that talk about drug use so much. Dre Dog has very good lyrics, though at times he uses the same raps. Beats are the weak point of this cd. Most of the beats are lacking. Of the 8 tracks maybe 3 or 4 of the beats are good while the others just aren’t good. “Off That Chewy” doesn’t even have a beat(but it shows off Dre Dog’s lyric ability). “Most Hated Man In Frisco” and “The Ave” are the two best tracks on the cd. The rest of the songs range from average to bad.
___I must say I was disappointed with this cd. Dre Dog isn’t a bad rapper but he just didn’t do very good with this cd. With only 2 or 3 tracks being good I can’t say it was worth the money. And the fact there are only 8 tracks and under 40 minutes there isn’t much to listen to. I would not reccomend this cd as it isn’t that good.
