How long does a Mehndi henna tattoo last ?
A temporary Mehndi henna tattoo lasts on average about 2 weeks. For some people it will stay for as long as 4 weeks, but be careful about making predictions. Many different factors influence how long a Mehndi henna design will last, including: how often the area is washed, the pH of the soap you use, environmental factors such as heat and humidity, and even your skin type.

What color is a Mehndi Henna Tattoo ?
Henna tattoos (Mehndi) generally have an orange pigmentation, varying from a pale orange to a burnt orange or deep reddish-brown. The tint depends on your skin type and how long you leave the preparation to dry on your skin when you are applying it. A longer drying period allows a fuller absorption of the henna, which generally results in a darker tattoo.

Can I get different colors?
Traditionally, Mehndi henna tattoo can only be done in various shades of orange. Since the pigmentation of mehndi is derived from henna, orange-copper is the only color possible. The Veni's Mehndi Kit doesn't provide other options.

The chemists in the Veni's laboratories are currently working on the development of a variety of Mehndi colors. The Veni's Mehndi Kit Pro will soon be available and will make colorful Mehndi henna designs possible.

Why do I have to leave the preparation on my skin for so long ?
The absorption process of the pigment contained in natural henna is rather long. To obtain maximum results, the moist henna preparation must stay on the skin long enough to permit this absorption. This is why Veni's Mehndi Kits contain an essential oil lotion that should be applied to the design to prevent it from drying prematurely.
