Since Walt Disney World is approximately twice the size of the island of Manhattan and the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, The Disney-MGM Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom only take up 1000 acres of the total 45 square miles of land, then what's on the rest of the land you ask? Well there are tons and tons of other activites. For the sports lover, there are many choices--everything from golf to parasailing. For the swimmer, there are three amazingly innovative waterparks. For the night person and shopper, there is Downtown Disney complete with nightclubs, restaurants, and shops. Also, not too far from Walt Disney World is the town of Celebration, the town that disney built.
