Other Stuff...

My usual(std) Geocities e-mail adress wil NOT be available anymore due to the huge amounts of spam I've been receiving lately. And now since Geocities was taken over by Yahoo! the e-mail form I was using is *also* out of order. So please use the guestbook if you realy need to contact me.

The Africa Survey thingy is no longer relevant. Since I will not be updateing the site anymore, these stats will not be of much use, but a BIG thanks to everyone who DID help out and submitted their views. Thanks guys! :)

Virtual Tour of South Africa Yes, that's right! You can tour through South Africa, on the web!

Map of South South Africa Open this handy new map in a new window as you navigate the site.

Welcome to Untamed South Africa.

The END
Well, guys... this will probably be the last update I will do on this site. My current workload is keeping me very busy, and since I am now doing this kind of thing full time as a job, I don't really need it as a hobby anymore. Thanks to EVERYONE who visited, signed the guest book, mailed me with suggestions, questions and everything else. Thanks for all the great feedback over the years (it's been more than 5 years now!). It really has been lots of fun having this site, but as some of you will know, maintenance of such a site takes some time - and currently I need that time for other things. But, remember that the site will not go away soon. Everything that you see here now will stay here, and you are still as welcome as ever to visit, sign the guest book, and drop me a note. I will check in from time to time. The only difference is that I will not be doing any updates anymore. :)
Dankie almal!!

BTW, please don't forget to Sign the Guestbook. Let us know what you think. :-) You can also View the Guestbook here.

And for all the travelers out there, don't forget to check out the Vacation & adventure section. It's packed with all the necessary travel information to plan a trip to South Africa. And if you're not sure what time of the year is best to visit, or don't know what to do, you can still read the old When to go and What to do page.

WOW!!... it's here! Embark on a Virtual Tour of South Africa All the way from the vineyards and beaches of the Cape to the wild animals and bushveld of the North. This is an experience you don't want to miss!!

Please note that I will NOT be responding to any e-mail adressed to the 'old' Geocities e-mail adress. Go to the Guestbook to leave me a message, because the old e-mail contact form is also out of order since Yahoo! took things over, and I don't have time to fix it.

SA Sport

The Big 5
Ever wondered who the Big 5 are. No it's not a secret gang, and it's not a group of countries at the UN. Find out over here.

Raffiki

Don't be fooled by his familiar looks. Raffiki is actually a long lost weird and wacky, ape-of-the-90's, cousin of Rafiki in the Lion King. No really, in real life Raffiki is the name of my cat - who looks like a jersey cow, and behaves like a dog (except for barking ) So, now that you have been introduced, you can say hi to Raffiki!

In South Africa it's considered good manners to leave something behind for your host. Here you can sign your name in the Book of Visitors.
