Our landfall was Angel Island in the Bay area at one of
the public moorings. This park is a great place to visit. Remains of various
establishments show the show the many roles Angel Island played in the history of San
Francisco. |
Mission Delores of San Francisco is a beautiful example
of the Spanish mission style in California and the first of many that we visited on the
west coast. |

Two Harbours anchorage in the Catalina Island of the
Channel Islands group. Quite pleasant in the fall with only a few boats using the
moorings. In the summer this bay is completely filled with boats moored cheek by jowl. |
