Aims Dolphin Manor, a quality wildlife safari resort being the Eco- tourism venture functions to generate funds for Nepal Centre for Riverine lives to initiate conservation of aquatic wildlife in Nepal, specially the fresh water dolphins 'Sush'. It also highlights on employment of the local people living in this area and educating them on the conservation of endangered animals and plants.

Where is it? Situated in the buffer zone of Royal Bardiya National Park has tented camp facilities and river stone lodge. Tents and rooms have twin beds and attached toilets with bucket bathing facilities.
Royal Bardiya National Park lies in the western part of Nepal and covers approximately 1,000 sq. kms. It houses variety of wildlife like the civets, langurs, swamp deer, rhinos, chital, wild boar, leopard, wild elephant and the royal tiger. There are around 500 species of birds. The River Karnali which forms the western boundary of the National Park has the fresh water dolphins and other aquatic life such as the gharial, otters and turtles to mention the few.

How to get there ? To reach Dolphin Manor from Kathmandu, one can fly toNepalgunj which takes about 1hr. 10 mins. and airport transfers are conducted by Dolphin Manor for its guests.
One can also take 14- 15hrs long, regularly conducted local bus journey or travel by private vehicles (appro. driving time 12hrs) hired straight to Dolphin Manor.

Activities Dolphin Manor offers a wide variety of activities such as elephant safari, a raft or dugout canoe trip down the River Karnali, four wheel jeep safari through the Park, walk about in the Tharu village, experience of the local culture and dance, white water rafting and trekking.

Special programs are planned for the groups, students or to suit the individual interest to give the best experience in the Eco-tourism and the wildlife.
